Now you know what players are thinking by looking at them on tv, why don't you message Hackdorn so he can use it for his new article, you certainly lapped his latest one up.

So because the playing group thought Mundy was a better choice at the beginning of the year you read into it that he's not well liked or respected by some of the playing group and also you think Fyfe is having a dummy spit as a result and thinking I'll look elsewhere?

If Fyfe was that much of an egotist I would say you are welcome to exercise your options elsewhere but I think you are barking up the wrong tree UHTB. A bit like Hackdorn and Barrett, searching for conspiracy theories that aren't there.

When one out of ten of their theories turns out to be true they are put on a dias as the genius who broke the story, ignoring the other rubbish they spread which turns out to be baseless.

DD you flatter HACKDORN by suggesting that his success rate is 10%. You need to divide that by at least 10 to get even close to HACKDORN's real success rate. Hackdorn would be lucky to look out the window and get whether it was raining right.

Quality journalism and Hackdorn are mutually exclusive.

Exactly what he said. OPTIONS. Would be worth $1.3m a year or more. Could test the water & clubs like Hawthorn or Sydney can always afford it.

Whenever a quality players contract is up for renewal and hasn't yet signed (and Fyfe is contracted until the end of next season isn't he?) there is always this scuttlebutt rumours thrown up by journos, happened with Lachie Neale just recently, happened with Natanui I recall (Could Natanui be heading to Melbourne they said). It's all about getting the best deal for themselves. I'm sure Pav did it a couple of times during his career to frighten Fremantle into digging a little deeper.

Heard Gaffs name brought up recently, did he resign just recently or yet to put pen to paper?

you wouldn't expect a potential captain to be so open about it, not in-sync with the way he usually carries himself.

Fyfe's comments about exploring his options at the end of 2017 are fine, you wouldnt expect him to be putting his hand up to be captain in 2017 though if he isnt 100% sure he will be there the following year.

It was, I for one fail to understand the logic in giving a 31 year old mid at the end of his career the captaincy.

But what would I know about leadership and the afl.

Keep in mind he will finish as the least capped captain of the club.
