My apologies to any who become offended with this observation

But once again I refer to Stats and there 'relative usefulness'.... (I use the term very loosely)

How the hell does one WP player rack up 43 possessions out of the middle - and we do so badly in the forward line.....????????????????????????????????????????

I am so over this ineffective placement/usage/handling of the ball and players getting accolades for being so called 'prolific ball getters' but in reality doing SWEET FAAAARRRRK ALL WITH IT!!!

Any way - that's my say
Much more to comment on regards the game but I needed to vent that comment right NOW!!

Ahhhhh the Matt Priddis conundrum....is he an A grader??? ...Baz Zempalis doesn't think so goin by his commentary last night stating the WCE best hope of developing an A grader in the midfield is Shuey....bit of an insult to a Brownlow Medallist.....so who's the offender today Growler??? Wouldn't be the bloke who won the Sandover would it???

Dear Dirty Weekender
Personally as much as I hesitate to besmirch some of my own players I do not rate Nelson or the Sandover medalist as highly as Priddis
That's my opinion and like arseholes every one has one - this is mine ...

Yes they are 'good' footballers but I am sad to say I do not see the results of their efforts week in and week out when we are not putting sides away like we did Perth -
And then in that game mind you they were both Shut down to a degree - so proof somewhat in that pudding me thinks.

Secondly 'Basil' is an idiot ranked only just ahead of the x Eagle Barra...who also thinks himself a credible journo or TV presenter - So for me, his footy opinion I dont rate.

As I said and will continue to state!!
If you are not effective with the majority of the ball you get, then the outcome is only personal gratification and team loss.

Courageous effort by the WP players who threw everything at Subiaco.
Bit unlucky in last 10 mins with a close miss and a poster
2 Marks by Striker and Luke Meadows that werent considered as not good enough by the Umpire
A soft free kick where a Subi player was on his knees and the WP player comming in got a head high against him when there was nothing else he could do with the momentum and Subi went down and kicked the nail in the coffin

Missed Marcus Adams today he could of made the difference but am not one to say 1 Player makes a team. If that was the case you havent got a team.
I was told Jordon Jones would be back after the bye and that will be a handy inclusion as well.. DONT WORRY CARDIES ALL IS NOT LOST ;)

All up a tough fought game in the WAFL tradition.

Bye next week and then onto Swannies for the Anzac Monday game. Sure that will be another hard game in the true tradition.

Well done to the Colts who have turned a big corner
Condolences to the Reserves who should of won but just didnt want to be first to the ball

Growler do not agree with your comments on Blacky and Nellie both had a good game today and the bottom line is IF A PLAYER FROM your team has possession he has to get it in the first place and it puts your team at an advantage in that you have possession. :)

That is what footy is all about. You are welcome to your opinion mate and have heard it before but Disagree entirely. If a player has 40 Disposals and another 8 I know who I would prefer to have in my team.. Take them out of the equation and your club is in BIG trouble...
As for Nelly He had 43 disposals.. 23 kicks and 20 handballs.. ok 4 marks so take those off his kicks and he had 18 kicks in GENERAL play that would of put us in an Attacking position and please dont say they were turn overs as I saw very few turnovers today and he wasnt one of the offenders.

It is going to be a very interesting comp looking at the results so far AND A TIPSTERS NIGHTMARE . Perth appear to be the only week link and after todays result could upset a few teams when they get their act together.

On your side here Growler.....bad ball use is bad footy.

I reckon the only difference between Basil & Barra is Baz knows he's an idiot without a clue :P

Here's hoping your blokes can start putting it on the scoreboard in a couple more games time after the SD game. If there is one thing I want from footy in 2015 besides a SD flag it's to see ur mob make finals and stick it right up Ch7's back clacker....after their childish stance towards WAFL footy as a whole in refusing to telecast WP games its the least they deserve.

Once again Cardy I agree to disagree
Personally if there was an option for me to have player who took 10 'effective' possessions against one who took 40 'ineffective' - give me the 10 any day of the week

There is absolutely NO advantage to a team if their 40+ touch ball payer cant put the ball where it is needed!! and as to wether its a mark, a handball or a kick, give me a player who puts it into the goal square, gives it to a moving forward - can place it on a chest or a leeding forwards hands not waste it 50% of the time

as I said they are both GOOD players but I believe (personally)somewhat over rated due to their high possessions/stats, and when the day arrives they both give continued effective ball movement instead of mutual handshakes and incorrect disposals (I was there too)I'll recognise them for what others believe they are...

If our midfield do not get their collective acts together our year is not going to proceed where we wish it too
Drop the excessive touchy-touchy ball use down to 25 effective ball movements and well win every week.

Dirty WEEKENDER
HAHAHA I WONDER IF YOUR THOUGHTS ON bAZZ ARE TRUE .. KINDA SCARY

I really am looking forward to our game against your boys
I have to say the most interesting games and excellent supporter banter is against the SD team
Love the finals comment --- now that would make my year alone hahaha
