Ducked in to MRP as I was passing by tonight to watch a bit of training.
A bit hard to pick up who was who. They were training on the Eagles' oval.
They seemed to be in 3 different groups doing fast and intense match simulation drills.
Considering only first day of 2nd week of pre-season the players seemed to be in very good nick and skills by hand and foot pretty good also.
A lot of hard running and very few stragglers.
Good to see Gibba on the track and looking fit, also Mitch Lague. Rogers looks very fit and Byrner looks ok.
Could not see Masto and Yeo was doing laps. Hope we are sorting out all the injuries.
No sign of Bennell, not sure that we will see him. More importantly no Eyres. He has had foot problems so we may be in trouble unless we come up with a capable ruckman before round one.
I was unable to pick out the new recruits

Hopefully the club is putting a lot of resources into developing the two big hyphen ruckmen Smokey. We are going to get smashed up in the ruck if we are relying on Eyre's to carry the ruck.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Who? Not the guy with the booming left kick?
Oh, he was there looking super fit and actually kicked some mighty right foot bombs.

Was he up in front of the sticks, learning from that noted goal kicker Masto?
