Again you've proven you don't know how it works. Being 40 listed, less than 23 and with less than 5 years Senior service makes Quill Ineligible for transfer. Same as Leggett

Not ineligible Joker. Not contracted so entitled to seek a transfer. EF don’t like dealing with transfers out even when all protocols are met. How different when you want to ignore all protocols to entice a contracted player to your club.

If he is contracted then EF have every right to stand steadfast and refuse a transfer. If all protocols met then PFC entitled to pursue a transfer.

Quite frankly Smokey, you have no idea. Read the Rules mate. It clearly states a player is Ineligible for transfer if he's given less than 5 years services, under 23 and 40 listed. It's in black and white. Not hard to find. Quill is Ineligible

Ineligible or not if a player is not contracted he is eligible to request a transfer. That does not mean his club will agree to a transfer.

Someone clarify 40 lists. I did not think that clubs have to submit a 40 list until the start of the season. Any comments?

All i'm doing is trying to inform you of the rules- which you know nothing about. It's a simple bit of reading- on the WAFC site. I went and read them around transfer and it's pretty straight forward. The bottom line is both Quill and Leggett are Ineligible- they're the same mate, in fact, from what I can take it- Leggett is only Ineligible because he is contracted. I'm not sure of Quill contract status, but regardless- according to the rules- they're seen as the same.

Which is ironic, considering the carry on from you Perth blokes around EF approaching Leggett

I did a quick count from the list of senior players on our website: there's 32 guys who I haven't established themselves as league players yet. It's from among this group's improvement that any success we have this year is dependent. Here's my list of the top eleven prospects from this group, not in any order:
1. Bryan, 24yr, 40 games.
2. Browne 23 yr, 42 games.
3. Marlin, 24yr - 27 games
4. Jones, 22yr - 32 games
5. Johnston, 21 yr - 28 games
6. Hill, 22 yr - 26 games
7. Henderson, 23yr - 31 games
8. Coniglio, 24yr - 34 games
9. Burke, 22 yr - 11 games
10. Roe, 21 yr - 14 games
11. Davis, 20 yr - 5 games

We need these guys to step up next year; no matter our recruits.
