Personal Demon, from the 12 players you stated Giblett, Bryan, Byrne, Yeo, Eyres and Langdon have had little to zero impact during the pre-season to date from all accounts due to injury or absenteeism including Bennell who has been rarely sighted and would seriously need to pull his finger out as DD says. A big effort and some serious catching up is required after the break.

The boys will be back on the track first week of January and then I expect that pre-season training will really start in earnest. From there we will get an idea of how the new boys are fitting in and how they are starting to stack up along with some existing borderline players.

A lot of water to flow under the bridge before the cuts start and then we will see what the cut of the cloth looks like.
I don't think for a moment that all recruits will make the cut necessarily. When the trimming starts then we will get an idea of how the squad will look for 2020,
The football department report at the AGM confirmed the current ins but did say that the work was not yet finshed. Recruiting is a difficult task with salary and points caps to juggle. Obviously we had that covered for a player of Zac Clarke's ilk but as that has not panned out as we would have liked we still have the capacity for a player of that standard, if we can find him.

Let's hope we find what we are looking for. But we should not get carried away with thoughts of a "war chest". It just is not there.

I’d prefer they all have an impact during the footy season. A ridiculous comment.

Regarding Ninja, I agree his output and stats don’t look great, but I think he is a victim of us not having a decent forward target.
How many times have forward entries gone in to him as our marking option.
In a team with a couple of KPP’s up forward to compete and bring the ball to ground, I think he will flourish. Shame it couldn’t be with us.

Devin McFarlane is back training at the club. Has a lot of work to do to get himself fit but if he does would slot straight back into the best 22.

That is good news. And Richard Bourne Jr too? He could play a bit.

That's very good news MA. One of my favourite players. What's he been doing the last 12 months, travelling? Great to hear he's back.
