Time For a Flag wrote: Frazer loves the Dees and if delisted by WC i would be confident he will return to us. Would not want him as our new forward we are talking about but as someone said - he would be a very good 1 point player. WC reserves 10 points down with 10 minutes to go. So he may be finishing up very soon with WC

Are you kidding me?
Fraser is exactly what we need.
Don't bet on any loyalty to PFC he's played more games against us than with us.
The only saving grace may be is that Uncle Rob is heading recruiting.
I would hope he may sway any decision.

If we get McInnes, we have to regard him as a returning player, not a recruit. We should still be looking to get at least 3 other quality players on top of Fraser. That said, the Eagles may be a threat, I'm sure that with Petrie likely to retire they will put up a submission that they should be allowed to keep Fraser in a mentoring role.

I reckon Fraser would be the lead up,marking CHF we are looking for.
I don’t see him as FF.
I think he’s more likely to stay at WCE.He does become a Perth player if delisted and as DF points out there’s the Wiley factor.

You guys are kidding yourselves if you think McInnis is going to Perth. He'll be in West Coast colours next year.

Hear what you are saying.
If we need 2 and he is one of them then we spend 11 instead of 20.

Demons Forever wrote: DD you're correct DBW has come on a lot, I think thanks to the appointment of that ex AFL ruckman as ruck coach.
Priority must be to continue to nurture and work on both DBW and CH.
But I still see a need to recruit a ready made one and to keep Eyres on the list.

Who's the ruck coach?

He's 193/4 cm.

Who's the ruck coach?

Beau McDonald. Ex Brisbane/Swan Districts.

An old fashioned full forward is exactly what we need. Doesn't need to be 195 plus cm's. Need one that will lead continuously all day, provide a contest and most importantly kick goals. Get that and another tall that plays the same way a Clancy Wheeler does and that would be great.

As far as ruckman go we need one that can move around the ground as well as compete in the middle. Doesn't need to get 40 plus hitouts but you'd take one that gets 20-25 hitouts, 20 possessions, 3-4 marks and a goal a game. Hard to find I know but if there is one out there I hope he finds his way to Lathlain.

I'd still like a mongrel key defender. One that takes the oppositions best key forward. This would free up Giblett to play as a second tall down back or even have stints in the ruck from time to time.

If we can get a full season out of Corey Byrne we'll be all the better for it and if Gordon Narrier can have a full preseason then he will also be better for it. Was injured throughout a lot of last years preseason and it showed throughout 2019.
