Clarke is the recruit we need to go all out to get.
He can dominate the ruck in this comp, could be the difference between going deep into the finals or missing out altogether.

I did too Freez but who really knows what is really happening?
I agree Perth’s focus should be 100% on getting Clarke on board. He is the key to where we are heading.

What puzzles me is they gave us an extra 10 points (130) the last 2 or 3 seasons but not sure we used them, or should I say used them wisely? But then they strip us back to 110! Why? Now we’ve got rid of dopey Atkins all of a sudden we are getting fair dinkum about recruiting but are restricted to 110 points.

What’s the punishment for? Back to back 6th spot? We should definitely receive compensation points for McInness and I hope the club is lobbying the WAFC on this. Just doesn’t make sense to strip us of points when we are primed to finally have a big impact on this competition. If we made finals and a grand final in the last couple of years then fair enough take the extra points away.

Perth does have extra points- the baseline is 100 and they have 110.

Last year the baseline was 120.

Subi, Cl, SF and WP all have only 100

Absolutely agree, DD. I've always said that equalisation measures need to gauge a team's success over a 5 year period, rather than season to season. On that basis, we have won the second least games over the past 5 seasons. Unsurprisingly, the bottom 3 - by some margin - are SD, P and EF. We have won only 3 more games than EF. So why do EF, SD and EP have 15 more points? 110 points means we effectively get to recruit one more player than S and SF. That is hardly going to bridge the gap.

The problem may lie with the fact that we were given concessional points and never used them.
After asking for equalisation measures.
An indictment on the way the Club was being managed.

STT yes the previous management got them.
And never used them, now they're gone.
How dumb was the previous management?
At least now we have management that know what they are doing.

Same footy manager, we’ve lost the ceo who recruited jonesy, coaches brother got us Masten, Current profit off the back of Marty being there all year, last prez til March, but okay DF have it your way.

STD apart from CJ recruiting was dormant under Atkins reign and membership went through the roof after change of president make no mistake about that. Marty passing through the exit door was the last piece of the puzzle.
