STT, the current management did not take over until the end of February when recruiting, if you can call it that, was done and dusted.
All things have changed for so much the better since the new regime took over.
Sure Marty was there for most of this year but he was operating under the new regime who rang in all the new changes.
Sorry, but can't give very much of the credit to him.

A change in fortune on the field has gotten Perth to the table with some of these recruits.

So far they've only landed Masten.

They're in the mix for Clarke. Surely, Perth were chasing all the guys that went to other clubs over the past few seasons- hard to get them when you're bolted to the bottom of the ladder. Don't give the new team that much credit, or blame the old one either. Winning makes it easier

Winning the first five games of the season helps the membership.

Last season recruits were Bryan 3pts, Langdon 1 pt, Coniglio 5 pts.
If you can’t find the recruits then you cannot use your points.

Marty couldn't run an election.

Good to hear that new recruit Kieran Delahunty finished top 5 in a time trial this week. He's a tall that can run which is promising.
