After a tough encounter against what many regard as the biggest challenger to a 2019 Subiaco premiership and just falling short, we face an even bigger challenge on Thursday night. Dumb fixture means both sides have to backup on a 5 day break so I probably expect a few changes. I think if our boys back themselves in and don’t feel intimidated by Subiaco then I give ourselves a chance in a two horse race if our forward line clicks. Surely the teams will be named tonight?

Someone has to beat these morons st some stage when it was not expected just to keep comp a bit interesting.
They are like Easter islanders cutting down the trees. One day they’ll look around and go oops we’ve got the biggest pile and now we’re fuct.
So dumb.
Go demons, strike a blow for honesty and working hard and for blue collar blokes who come off the tools to get to training.

What, so you think Subi players just rely on their footy income? go ask Horse what he feels like at training after finishing a day on the tools as a rigger or Rhys Waters as a sparky and I could go on, then look at your own clubs history with the salary cap back in 2008 before you start making unfounded accusations. You are a complete numpty who has no idea whats going on at your own club let along others.

These morons just can’t help themselves can they. Apparently now we are not allowed to discuss the stink around subi on our own thread without them coming across to piss in our pockets and tell us it’s raining.

They want to be the working class heroes along with being the silvertails, it never ends.

Oh and SS if you can post anything to the effect that PFC breached the salary cap in 2008 or any other year I'd be very interested because it has never happened.

Believe me or don't believe me but DF and others who think these guys are just poor old footy fans who are unfairly maligned, forget it, they are subi supporters who would rather see the comp fold than their team lose and they give as good as they get plus some.

And Nuggets stop trying to reason with them brother they will agree, agree, agree, agree until you reach the point with them that something should actually change.

BC admits that his club's dominance is hurting the comp - what does he do? Crap on about this and that but never confronts the issue.

Pretty sure the Subi fans have as much control or say in Subi's success, as Perth fans have had in Perth's failure since 77
It's pretty simple STT come end of the day....Perth just need to raise their standard to meet Subi's every day benchmark....no 3rd quarter sleepy bo bo's .....crack open the PFC war chest and the WAFL world will be your oyster....

Ok Freez, good suggestion, let’s hope PFC can one day be as good as subi and win 110% of its games.

STT, to be fair, BC has come up with some ideas that might reduce Subi's dominance a bit, al least so far as not picking off other WAFL players which is the one thing that most opposition fans find most galling. And turning to Freeze: there was a video that went viral a while ago where a teenage girl was asked about the homeless problem. She said "Why don't they just buy a house?" Your repeated comments that other clubs simply need to raise their standards to meet Subi are equally glib and asinine. The grand plan as formulated by Freeze: get getter and you will win more. Why hasn't your club simply raised their standard? Why haven't SD? Could it be that they are not generating $4m in revenue?

I wasn't going to get involved in this discussion TN but given this thread is supposed to be about our upcoming game between us and you guys I'd like to make the comment that I would love to see the cycle of clubs rising and falling on the ladder over time become the norm once again. Subi's long period of success isn't great for the comp and anyone who says different is kidding themselves in a WAFL which is struggling to stay relevant. What I don't accept is that it's up to the likes of me as a member and supporter of Subi or the club itself to implement changes to make that happen. It's up to the WAFC and to StT and his ilk who want to point the finger at me or anyone else who happens to support my club then you are misguided and delusional. I don't make the rules, my club doesn't make the rules...start directing your vitriol at those who do. Good luck tomorrow night TN...I hope its a great game notwithstanding the shithouse fixturing which would have seen probably 2500 plus if it was played on Saturday.
