Take a look at the video of the song in the rooms after the game.
Not sure I have seen the feeling around the player group like that in a long long time.
I think they are committed and I think it shows.
They are fitter and stronger.
They are obviously committed to the work.
And they have lifted themselves to a new level.
Not sure the players would want selection any other way.

I find this discussion completely bizarre. Ninja is top shelf, those players just don't come back through the 2s. If he is right to go he's right to go. It's not like he's had a year off.

It's all about best practice which is something completely foreign to PFC in recent decades.

I agree with what others have said about the game, really good to see the skill level and tackling intensity up early in the season.

Couple of things stood out to me. We kicked over 100 points which has been a rarity in recent times. The ability to move the ball end to end on multiple occasions was both great to watch and a testimony to our improved skills. We owned the corridor on Saturday which is how good teams play. Top marks to the backline coach as well. The match ups were first rate. Liked the game of Lague and Giblett in key position roles. Waterman got three of his five seagulling out the back and McInnes did stuff all when the game was on the line early. Bell towled up Cameron and Chris Bryan was fantastic running the lines. The willingness to run off and create attacks forward was really impressive.

Not sure how you change that team going into the game against South this week. Next three are vital to setting this season up - SF, SD and EP - all teams we'll need to finish ahead of on the ladder if we expect to be playing finals and after that performance on Saturday they should expect to be playing finals.
