His partner has returned to Scotland I think for work and he has decided to go with her.

I think recruiting has been ok so far. No real losses and apart from Taylor, Fisher and Wolfenden.

Smith should hopefully be better after two years in the AFL and College played some reasonable footy at East Perth. His first half of season 2015 was very good.

If Tendai hadn't of got picked up I would rate our recruiting at a B but with him to off to the Giants its probably more a C+ at the moment.

Desperately need another ruckman and a tall defender.

With Angus Litherland signing for Subiaco I hope that the club is still searching or another key defender. Litherland would have been a very good signing IMO.

Same old story you Perth boys get excited about a few recruits, then Salaryaco comes along and get the pick of bunch.

Colledge for mine as a whole has been disappointing hence his delisting.
Next season is 2017 thats a long way off from his form from the first half of 2015.
Clem has also been disappointing in his time at Carlton especially his form in the VFL.

These 2 really need to play to the standards that saw 2 AFL clubs draft them.

Tendai is a huge loss.

If i had to mark our recruiting thus far based on recruits previous form id have to rate it between a D and a C-.

I reckon we need a tall forward that can ruck also need a KP tall defender and whilst we are at it a midfielder that is unlike the bunch we have now that can bring that X factor to the team.
A small forward would be nice also,Callum Walley is way to inconsistant and doesnt hit the scoreboard enough.

Roman no ones excited and Subi trump all teams when it comes to recruiting.

Fark DF, that last sentence makes about as much sense as that movie called "Arrival" I watched today at the Morley Galleria....good to be home in Perth catching a few rays....yeah perhaps all that hot Perth 20 odd degrees heat is scrambling my brain....really thought all those guys I mentioned were dead certs for Perth in 2017...but hey... than I looked at Perth's colts list from this year and saw the error of my ways....none of those guys I listed stand a chance getting picked ahead of the likes of Beryene, Punch et al and those 2 16 yr olds...silly me ;)

Does anyone else get the feeling that there are going to be no more 'big name' recruits? I'm sure there will be a couple more but I just get the feeling there won't be much fan fare.

No disrespect to any players that do come and sign for the club and I hope you are able to have a good season but I just don't think it will be like last year when we had Angus Graham, Spencer White, Clint Jones.

Picked up two rough beauties in Clayton Giblett (EP) and Devin McFarlane (Mandurah)

McFarlane is in the mould of McKenna but more skilled , only downside is he hasn't played WAFL for a couple of seasons after walking out on Mandurah , a goer across half-back

Giblett is a real prospect , he could be good at Half-Forward with his height for you guys or down back - this guy needs Earl to bang 6 or 7 games consecutively into him to bring it out , reckon the Royals would be silently spewing on this one mate
