Then what's it got to do with the Perth Footy Club. Geezus if Reimers is in a position to get banned so will 10's of others players and then entire club, and we all know that wont happen

Banning players en masse is a total nonsense IMHO. They appear to have been coerced by the club and any penalty handed out to them, if any, will most likely be "mickey mouse" stuff - token only.
I wouldn't want to be a member of the Essendon Football Department though.
My take on this is that Kyle Reimers was not the whistleblower. The story broke in Melbourne. Reimers was subsequently interviewed by a local journalist after the story broke.

Correct Unka i'm pretty sure it comes under Asada now, Smokey unfortunately ignorance is no excuse for taking banned substances.

Agree PN, ignorance is no defence.
It would seem hard on the players if,in fact,the club gave them assurances that whatever they were given was within the bounds of legal.
Perhaps whatever the players were asked to sign should have included an assurance that the club would not ask or insist they take any substance or treatment that would breach
the rules.
Maybe the wool was pulled over the players' eyes. I wonder how many of them ccnsulted their manager, medical advisor or even a legal advisor?

Reimers sound like a ideal club man for the Perth football club. Truth be known Peel didn't want him. McViegh spoke so highly of him. Not long now Paul and we will at last see a return on our membership, top four is looking good with the talent on the list plus throw in the new assistants.new culture (again) all the figjams have been shown the door. It just goes on and on. What a productive summer.
