Maybe this weekends results aren't the true tell of the situation and it will take the entire year to play out for the truth to be reviewed - but at least it does make for some salvation for the Perth Club moving forward

Growler. cannot comment abt ressies game but colts the Perth side were just better at everything, I don't think the alignment has anything to do with our level.

The reserves for us are ok and where we normally are with or without the ERT process, not great and not bad.

I haven't checked the exact numbers but I dont think there was a lot of WCE players in the East Perth team on Saturday. Also if you look at the prime movers in the win, they were all EP based players. I think the numbers were down because of the current Eagles injury list and the fact that they were playing in Brisbane and would have taken a couple of emergencies. If you want to see a team being carried by their big brothers try Peel.

Although they may be rookies Mikeh, they are still fulltime footballers compared with the G7 players who are part-time footballers.

As for the team which is still laughingly referred to as Peel, under no circumstances can it be construed as anything other than the Dockers' reserves' team. What a farce it will be, and a complete embarrassment to the WAFL Commissioners, if Fremantle make the AFL Grand Final and "Peel" make the WAFL Grand Final and the Dockers refuse to let 10 players play in the WAFL Grand Final.

swan 42: don't worry if that happens the Dockers reserves would almost certainly lose the grand final.

Funny how one of those full time footballers in Adam Carter got a league game all last year with the royals.This year as a part time footballer he has just played his first game with south.A lot of ordinary footballers get on afl lists and being a full time footballer won't make them better.You got to have talent.

Agree D2013. IMO Billings, J Morton, and Boyes will be ins.
Not so sure about Bateman and Collard and we could be without Sinclair, Sully and Stacky.
Garlett is starting to show some good form in the ressies and may not be too far away.

What about Mitch Browne? Surely he's a chance to play thus weekend.

Mitch Browne played really well in the ressies last week, and has been consistently playing well wouldnt be surprised if he plays league this week.
