Pete - not being a smart alec - but the club needs you and everyone else there front and centre every week, and at the occasional social or presentation. We the supporters are the club. Players and administrators come and go, supporters stay. Hope you get along more often

The game was over at the 5 minute mark. It was like watching boys against men. I couldn't question our endeavour at any stage. But we virtually got bullied. It was literally pros against amateurs. I've never seen so many blokes get injured but at no stage were we in the match. It's tough to watch when you really are no chance. Their slowest bloke was quicker then our fastest. So much more size and strength. Subi next week so it will most probably go from bad to worse

Had high hopes for Perth in this match and lost half a carton on the result!
The injuries sustained by several of their players did not help.
Having 3 scoring shots in three of the quarters and just 1 scoring shot in the other was not applying pressure to the opposition. With only 10 scoring shots for the match is a poor reward. Perth really lost the plot in the second quarter having 70 ball disposals for the one point scored in the 2nd quarter. And at the end of the match, had 44.2% of the game ball disposals. Some soul searching for the team during the week, taking into account the injury list too. Headaches for the coach and selection committee I'd suggest. Won't get any easier against Subiaco. Great to see the Perth reserves with a resounding win.

Wonder what the attendance being for this match. With the fine weather and this being the only game played this arvo, should have been a bumper crowd number.

Can't begin to imagine what Subiaco might do to us next week if we rock up like we did yesterday.

Actually felt sorry for the Perth supporters yesterday their team although out gunned and injured lacked enthusiasm. Good talent in the reserves so some positives there. I went to the Perth 3/4 huddle to listen to Earl and see the mood of the players. It's fair to say the supporters where frustrated and some a bit angry but Earl was very professional in his approach.

Who comes in to replace O'Sullivan, Kalajzic and Sinclair if they are all injured as per the article I read Also Dene White ankle (but he kept playing)

An interesting observation regards East Perth and you games against them this weekend

You guys smashed them in the 'reserves' and almost doubled their score in the 'Colts'
Once again the question remains ...
Without the Eagles in the league team where would they be?
Where is there up and comings ... are they feeling more of a pinch on who wants to play for them than what is being recognized

Maybe this weekends results aren't the true tell of the situation and it will take the entire year to play out for the truth to be reviewed - but at least it does make for some salvation for the Perth Club moving forward
