I hope for the umpires sake they have a good chat about their performance at this ground last time these two teams met.

There is nothing better than watching a game of footy on ANZAC day and this year is no different! Standing in the pen listening to the last post on a mild autumn day is brilliant!! And playing against the filth just makes it all that special.

I am worried about our ruck performances of late and in this game we will see another shortfall. As long as opposition ruck knocks keep going to troppo I guess it wont be a problem but be sure we will struggle in the air.

I had to go to the doctors last year after the game at home where the umpires completely lost control and the game was close to getting called off. I blew my voice box and pooper valve to smithereens and couldn't talk for a week which the wife thought was just magic!! If that happens this year I have borrowed some $1 coins from my muncher mate instead

This is the only WAFL game on ANZAC day this year so everyone who wants to come down and have some fun in the pen will be welcomed for whats sure to be a great day of remembrance, passion and refreshment!

I like Borret in the side, built like a young bull. Got to try something different. One of Kane Ransteds best assets is his speed off the mark. Not too many backmen can go with him so despite his surprise inclusion last week I think he's not a bad option in the absence of Mitch Morton.

These umpires have been terrible. Besides that this had been our worst performance of the season. The effort and ticker we showed last week non existent today.

Why you guys put yourselves through it has got me beat, round one was enough for me.

Not trying to be smart or anything Mr AFL, but it was a game that East Perth needed to play. I'm just sorry it was against Perth.

There are other teams I would have preferred it to have been.

Good to see ex-Royal Blake Borrett finally make it to the League side and another, Ashley Boyes do well in the Ressies. I don't think it will be too long before he pushes up into the League.

Both boys were well thought of at East Perth.

Right this is what I am going to try and take from that:

Power really improved all round particularly with his making.

I though Tropiano was quite today yet wafl online had him on 38 disposals. Brilliant.

White's effort on one ankle was brilliant.

Poor old Kalajzic just keeps getting injured. Twice today alone.

Sinclair very good and spewing that he is injured. A knee injury of some sort.

Jarred Bell kept Wolf quite. Btw if Wolf is from Thornlie juniors why hasn't he played 250 games for us?

Wolfendon very good today.

I reckon Latch is good thought can't remember too much about him today.

McKenna quieter today than he has been.

Overall I really enjoy the way we move the ball on a lot faster than in previous years but with 4 on the bench and one on one ankle we just fell away badly.

That was as bad performance today. Went along expecting more but got more of the same. Hope the colts can a brighter outlook.
