Pity Billings won't be available to put his knees into Paul Johnsons back this week.

A couple of points made on WAFL World tonight from their interview with Earl Spalding.

Callum Collard is apparently having some scans this week after he has taken a while to pull up from a corky.

Christian Eyres went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and that's why he missed. Has a slight calf problem and he may miss a week.

Jarryd Morton may be a chance to play this weekend but the club is being cautious with his history of soft tissue injuries.

Mitch Morton is maybe 1-2 weeks away from returning.

Borrett, Kalajzic, Hug and Brookes all named in an extended squad.

The boys are playing with fantastic belief and work ethic at the moment. Billings needs a massive boot in the arse for putting himself out of action but I reckon we are in this game against the East Spoon team of phonies.

Borrett in for me for Billings and away we go again throwing everything at these frauds. As long as the boys can back up after last week's excitement we are a deadset chance here again.

No one is going to want to play against us soon the way Earl has got these boys hitting the contest. Gee what a difference a real coach makes!!

So many names to get use to which will btw make it a little more difficult for ep to make a game plan. Interesting to see Bateman named as the 5th reserve.

Not sure what you meant DF about profound affect on Ransted. I along with most would agree Kane is a great club man and has got some ability but he just hasn't seemed to be able to put it together for long enough. Would love him to do a Dean White turn around. Time will tell. Did we see some increased hardness from the Flozz on the weekend? I think maybe - but not jumping on board just yet.

I use to think Billings was ordinary but has improved a hell of a lot imo. Spewing he will miss this week and therefore not that confident about 4 points anymore. Big job for Borrett who has not set the world on fire in the ressies from anything i have heard.

I was about to add that Borrett had a good game in the Ressies last week.
