What number was he AFL?
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

Well I've had some time to gather my thoughts properly and I still find it hard to believe just how much we got rolled by yesterday. Credit to Subiaco the did play well and are the reigning premiers but you would have thought that with spots up for grabs and the first competitive game of the year that blokes would have been champing at the bit to put in a good performance.

Out of the new recruits I thought Brent Wolfenden tried hard but needs more support and Liam McKenna looks like he'll be a handy player for us throughout the midfield.

Jarryd Morton, Brent Latch and Dene White all played reserves. Whitey was attacking the ball with his usual approach and I think it was him that was acting as runner for the league side as well. Big work load for one day so I would say that if he pulls up alright then he may play league against East Fremantle next week. J Morton and Latch should play to help Johnston and Billings down back.

Mitch Morton did not play at all so he is one player to possibly come back in next week. Jarrod Irons also played reserves.

Kayle Phillips, John Levien, Quinton Narkle and David Smith were a couple of players that I thought showed a bit in the colts win yesterday. Phillips particularly impressed.

Not a lot to get excited about. In fact a pretty insipid effort IMO overall.
I did think Johnston stood out in defence and should be a useful replacement forRisol. Billings was solid and looks set for a good season if the umps leave him alone.
Christian Eyres rucked quite well and took quite a few marks around the ground but must improve on his decision making. He has trimmed down and looks much fitter.
White and Irons looked good in the earlier game.
I could not detect much of a game plan but it was apparent that we were trying to be more direct going into attack but there was no targets up forward.
Generally Subiaco were much more fitter and more confident, well drilled and skillfull. We were inept and lacked physicality.
We have a long way to go if Subj are the benchmark. Predictions of a winless season may be close to the mark.

Yes Smokey I have predicted a winless season curtesy of four years of Mcdud and the board that chose him, make no mistake that decision will hurt this football club for a long tome to come,

The Director of Football needs to go.
Apparently suggested 2014 was acceptable.
We were awful yesterday, so many deficiencies and we are still no where near as fit as Subiaco.
I hope ES was looking for answers yesterday.
If not we are in deep shit.

Is it true we are being asked for a transfer fee for Ransted's or was some having a lend of me.
FFS why is he back at the Club.

He is a lazy player. Was not interested in the game and when the ball came near him he could only fumble it and/or fall over. He fired no shots in a full season of ressies in 2014.
IMO he knows nothing about how to play the game. He would struggle at under 14s.

Is Garstone one of those fellas who dominated at junior footy due to an early growth spurt and then once plays against older and stronger bodies, struggles to have an impact and cant cope with failure?

From the sounds of things EF season is already on the downward spiral after their 10 goal loss to WP according to Cardy........touch wood WP havent peaked too soon then.......everyone knows come half way throught the season is the time to either get super confident or super concerned at how your teams 2015 will pan out......never good to lose, especially by a big margin too, but always next week I guess......apparently EF are there for the taking.......no doubt Earl would love to see Perth improve from last Sat and get a win......I know Malaxos probably does too!
