He was Rookie listed. Hardly an AFL listed player that was alluded to. I think that everyone thought that was going to be Hawksly or Thornton.
Perhaps we could have taken the money instead of the trade and saved 11 points.

Come what may, I will save judgement on these three until I see what they deliver. Hopefully one or more of them may offer something.

Smokey, 11 points is not going to get a kick, set up a goal or put pressure on an opposition player is it ! Give him a go, its not like you have a plethora of options out there to recruit.

Now confirmed in this morning's "West"

I still can't see how the rednecks are allowed to sign from outside their zone.

Gday boys.

Well i am back after 4 months of having absolutely no interest in footy for the last 4 months and can you blame me after our 2014 effort both on and off the field. Probably culminated when i heard the result of the board ballot which i took personal pride in getting my family to fill out the ballots and send into the club.

But that was last year and like a heroin addict looking for their next hit i am back searching for my own pathetic high that the pfc gives me generally only for about 2 to 3 games each season just waiting for someone to finally put me out of misery and organise my own intervention so i can get on my life (probably in the form an alignment).

So not much to get too carried away with by the look of it but i will contribute somewhat to the discussion if i may....

For me one of the up and coming players who should be ready for league footy is young rowan gartlett. Was a real draft prospect few years ago but never went on with it. As usual if we cant win the game from the air players like gartlett will need to kick 30 goals for us to ramain competetive at least. I also put lawrence in that category. If he is given some freedom to roam from hf he can also kick a couple per game feeding off scraps from morton and a fit stack. Stack must start thisyear positive and there is no better mentor forhim this year than earl so hopefully by rd5 he is a form forward in the comp. I will be fkd off big time if him and mitch morton cant get goals this year as we all know they have the potential.

Two boys looking forward to having back are boyle and hodge and with tropiano and white in the middle. Back line big weakness again.i would of liked to see jarrod morton have the odd run up forward this year but with departure of risol that wont happen.

Anyway good to be back looking foward to some good banter and wish all the other addicts out there the best for 2015!

My apologies now the deal is done with Peel.
Ugle is a 10 point player, that's better.

The three Peel boys are Lawrence 10 Giannati 5 & McKenna 3.

Ok I understand why Ugle is worth 10 points as he played an actual game of AFL. However why is Lawrence worth that much. Granted he was on an AFL list but he did not play an AFL game. Shouldn't he then just be classified as a recruit from another WAFL club and be 3 points or at the most 5 points.

Nice touch by club in wishing Gerald Ugle all the best in the announcement of the new players from Peel. Think the last time we got a 3 for 1 deal we ended up with Farrant, Doherty and Pretty for Barry Cable.
