Has Pre-season training started yet??

Are all assistant coaches plus a ressies coach in place??

Apart from what has already been listed as "player losses" anyone of note not playing on in 2015??

Finally..Recruiting,any names on the dotted line as yet.
I would have thought we would have had at least 1 signing by now,all comps well and truely finished and pre-season training at most clubs around the state leagues would have commenced.

Still no news on the following:
Ressies Coach
Recruiting
Board Nominees.. I understand one past player MAY have nominated.

What we do know:
Claremont chasing Busher
Subi chasing Whitey
Tyson Beattie is new Strength and Conditioning manager ???
Williams, Ruck and Lang assistants

Has anyone got more news than that. It is time that we heard some positive news from the club. It is pre-season time and still so much to put to bed.

That surprises me Smokey that 3 assistants from last season have been kept on.
IMO the players need to hear from new voices and not so much same old same old.
I would have kept only one of those blokes on as an assistant coach and that being Ruck.

The longer its no news on the recruiting front the less likely it is to snare what would be classed as a "top get".

What kind of fool am I ? You are absolutely correct.
But who the hell will be S & C manager ?

30+ I don't have a problem with Williams and Ruck. I presume that Spalding is happy with them on his team. I hope so.

I didn't see any games with Williams at the helm but didn't he use the same game plan as the previous coach, I agree with you all ties with Mcdud should of been moved on.

PN, IMHO Andrew Ruck was quite impressive last season. I liked the way he spoke with the players. Trevor Williams is quietly spoken and gets the message across very well. He is good with the younger players and has form as a development coach.

The key here is whether or not Earl Spalding is happy to go with them and whether or not they can work with his game plan.

I agree with you on Ruck but thats it Smokey,He's young,a premiership player and comes from a club with a winning culture.
Spalding needs to bring his other assistants in.

If Williams gets his message across very well like you state then our players were definately not listening to him,imo hes had his go and its now time for new blood right across the coaching board.
I see this as a must!!

If Williams is that good give him a job overseeing the young talent in our district to make sure that the very best are getting through to our colts system.

Its pretty quiet isnt it??
For a club that lacks success like ours you would think the news(any news) would be freely coming out of the club and quite a bit of it.
Nothing from this mob.
