Thats the only way the likes of Perth and Peel will play finals.....rewarding mediocrity.

I didnt like the final 5 format when it was in before and i dont like the idea of it now,not in a 9 team comp.

We get stuff all spectators going to the finals now,it just means an extra week of poor finals crowds.

By the way for us to finish just in 5th position means winning at least 8 more games than we did in 2014 (11 wins is what it took to finish 5th this season),that to me suggests we not only have to recruit but we also have to be aggressive about it!!!!

If we're lucky he's just visiting and going back to Victoria.
The VFL would be devastated at losing him to the competition.

Looks like hes only kicked 20 goals for the season playing for a team in the Bendigo league called Kyneton,not good stats as it looks like he played forward mostly,20 goals a season in a bush league?

In regard to Ransted,i remember the same comments when Dene White returned,he has been fantastic,Ransted is the last Perth player to kick a bag of goals(think he has got 8 a couple of times?)Perhaps with a coach that doesn't play him out of position he might surprise.
Reckon it's pretty ordinary the way some on here bag the shit out of guys who play for the club.Culture is as stuffed supporter wise as it is club wise.

Getting those three back would definitely help the team and would be relatively cheap points wise.

This is a football forum to discuss football matters this includes players and there form!

Ransted has played under more than 1 coach and from my memory has played forward and back and been given ample opportunities to impress at both ends of the ground and imo has had plenty of time at senior level to really stamp himself.

He was only ever thrown down back because he wasnt kicking any goals in the forward line!!

For mine is to inconsistant,has been around long enough and really if this club is to go forward it must make the tough decisions.

Not every player trying to make a go of it is going to end up like White and lets remember its just 1 great year for White he has to back it up in 2015!

This list needs an injection of players that can make a difference,to keep going back to the "recycled" player is not a step forward.(unless of course you are a Ross Young)

Think Whitey has had 2 good seasons back mate...I don't really care who returns it's up to the coaching staff to piss them off if they're not up to it..maybe Ransted is giving it 1 last shot to prove to himself he is good enough.Can't be too critical of someone giving it a go,that's all i'm saying.

Ransted was a frustrating player to say the least, when he had his confidence up he was a really valuable forward who led well and could kick a long long goal but as soon as he lost his confidence he quickly became a very average player who didn't contest and dropped the simplest of sitters. If they can install a long term confidence pill in him he could be a big plus for the club.
