Go to the wafl "ins and outs" on this site our ins" are the coach:lol:  and Hodge(who's already there anyway)and who i still believe may be a late starter or even a non-starter in 2015.

Every other club lists a genuine "in",as in a new player, our "in" is the coach...wow that makes me feel much better about the up coming season!

The place is a joke, but to us unfortunately not a funny one.
They sacked McMahon virtually mid season on the premise that this would give them the front running to recruit a gun coach. We finally appoint one months later. There was no reserves coach and or assistants appointed. It was all left to the last minute and we end up with same coaching panel as this year with the exception of Spalding. Next they will tell us that Laurie Liddlelow is still an assistant.

No obvious recruiting has happened. As 30Plus said all other clubs have got something happening. Someone said there could be a mass exodus of senior players. There are rumours about White and Busher going to other clubs. We have already lost Bevan, Risol, Moody and Kane. We finally appoint and strength and conditioning coach in LATE NOVEMBER. The football manager has been there 5 minutes. Absolute mayhem but don't worry Marty will sort everything out.

Hey I see McMahon got a job or is being considered for the state 16's and 18's programs.

Clearly he continues to land on his feet, someone somewhere must think he can coach something.........

The Head Of Strength and Conditioning I think you will find was there at the start of preseason, as was his assistant.

The only person that started last week was the Football Manager I think. From what I was told this was due to him finishing up in his previous job.

Yes other clubs have already announced some recruits and I would love it if Perth were able to have announced 1-2 players but we haven't.

I find it hard to believe that the people that have been looking after the recruiting are just sitting on there hands.

A lot of times clubs have to wait until the AFL Draft's are finished. This will happen next Wednesday. Roughly 1500 players nominate for the draft each year.

I'm sure there will be a couple of recruits announced soon and by looking at the pictures of preseason there appears to be some new faces of which I don't know who they are or where they have come from.

What a joke, take a look at his Development record and in what direction the Colts were heading at Perth when the board delivered on it's promise and made him senior coach. Do some homework on the players that walked away from Perth both young and senior. My mail is that the club made Ross Young's decision to leave easy by reappointing him. Take a good look at how Perth is now travelling! Unbelievable if true.

I really feel for you rusted on Demons supporters...you've done it tough for a long time now but it's easy to see the passion you still all have for the club. I hope things turn soon but I gotta admit, if I was a credentialled player looking for a new home and I had a choice between Perth and say Subi or SF or even EF I don't think I'd be heading to Lathlain based on what has happended at the club over the last few years.

observer that's what I read in the paper during the week in the article that talked about Barge Lockyer being the Under 18's coach, McMahon name came up as an assistant. Just throwing it out there as an observation

Unfortunately I have to agree with that BC. I think that's one of the reasons why James Sellar didn't come to the Demons this year. Although in hindsight it appears we dodged a bullet there haha.

It sucks but we are in this position because of previous management or should I say mismanagement that has built up over the last 37 years. We need to try and get the best recruits that we can to try and fill as many of the holes in our list as possible. This isn't going to happen over one summer of recruiting due to points available and funds etc.... But they need to find a way to fill as many gaps as possible.

Hopefully that happens and the players can drastically improve their fitness levels and some of the young kids in Kalajzic, Manuel, Boyle, Sinclair, Arangio, Edmonds, Hug, Hunt, Jones, Browne, Leggett and Tanner can go up another level and quickly.

If this happens and we are able to keep as many players of the injury table then we should atleast be more competitive right to the final siren and win more than the three games we did on 2014.

Personally I still think it is going to be a tough year in 2015. However like most of us on here I still have that hope that maybe, just maybe things will go our way next season.
