We all know that drastic change is long overdue at board level at the Perth FC but even more so now that Vince Pendal has flagged the possibility that us Perth supporters might be seduced by the possibility of success by being aligned with the Eagles in the near future, obviously when the alignment with EP ends and the Eagles move their base to Lathlain Park.

I imagine most Perth supporters share my view.

Yep. And this just reinforces again the need to have wholesale change of board positions. We desperately need to see an alternative ticket posed at the next board election. Those that facilitated the fiasco of McMahon's disastrous reign need to go and anyone sharing the President's thought bubble need to go as well.

Agree completely with what you are saying.
Alas, I fear that there is no-one on the horizon who could put a ticket together.
It concerns me, some of the council that surrounds Vince.

There is nobody on the board capable of an opposing view.

With one Director obviously incompetent anyway.

And the others there for the ride.

Are we possibly the only club in the league that doesn't have an ex-player on the board?

If there were an ex-player or two prepared to head up a ticket I reckon you could galvanise enough talent behind them to put up a decent alternative for members to vote on. I'd put my hand up to join.

Dazzler: I would be prepared to take out a membership of the club if you can put up an alternative board

Cheers

Perth and East Perth to merge and be known as Perth Eagles, which will then become the new name of West Coast to better identify them with a major city, eg - Sydney Swans, Melbourne Demons, Adelaide Crows, Brisbane Lions.

Perth Eagles here we come!!

Up until last year we had Scott Spalding on the board.
With due respect to Scott I am not sure what he actually did (supposedly Football Director).
Was not visible around the Club.
From my perspective at least.

Our problem is we have no success for so long, the only past players ever seen at the Club except for a special occasion are from the 60s and 70s.

Regulars on game day:
Chubby
Pat Astone
Bob Shields
Ray Lawrence
Ian Rothney
Colin Lofts - recently

Sorry if I have missed someone.

With due respect their council would concern me.

Where to from here??
Its not looking to flash with whats being said.
A lot can happen in 4 years re the alignment,it could even be given the flick and the SA model be bought in.

East Perth could ground share Lathlain afterall who would want to be aligned with us...i wouldnt!!

Even Vince would have to take it to the members.

Im more worried at the moment about who's going to coach us and whether the penny has dropped in what it will take to get us our next flag!
Because to be honest if it doesnt happen in the next 4 years most members and supporters probably wouldnt give a fuck and think alignment is the only way for our next flag so for fux sake get it right PFC,appoint someone that can coach, recruit, develop and bring some success to this club now not later but now!!
