I reckon that you could use Sully as a tager but for me he'd maybe be better used in a defensive forward role or a lose man across half back. No one questions is ability to hit the contest hard so why not stick him in front of the key forward filling the space.

For me I reckon Irons (shoulder) is out, Busher (hamstring) is out and it would look like Sinclair is out as well.

Leyendekkers must come in, we need a second ruckman. Blake Borrett has been solid in the reserves and can come in and offer a potential back up ruckman or a tall down forward. Nick Kane back in and potentially Sean Lynch. Yes Lynch may make a couple of mistakes here and there but I think he has potential and what are we going to loose by giving him more exposure to league football to help his development.

God forbid a young player came on quicker than expected at Perth.

Daniel Arangio has also been solid over the last month. Has played 30 games of reserves now so lets give him a go. What do we have to loose!!!!!

Cale Morton was a big loss on saturday as a late withdrawal.
He has been close to our best player in the last 3 games. We missed his ball getting ability. The midfield again was the killer. We were performing ok early on with plenty of run. Once Swans got on top in the midfield they killed us. Also was surprised Morton even started on Gaeppen let alone stayed on him all day. Morton is our main rebounder from defence but he is a bit too loose to play on someone like Gaeppen. I would have put Risol on him. Nick Kane actually has a pretty good record against Gaeppen but he was only coming back from injury in the reserves.

Yep, agree. You'd reckon it would be C. Morton and Dene White leading the votes for the Butcher Medal at the moment and then daylight.

I'd say White would be a far bit ahead of C.Morton at this stage. White's been solid all year while C.Morton has uped his game over the last three matches. Then Daylight!

I think the WAFL stats say it all.

We have noone in the top 10 for disposals, noone in the top 10 for marks, noone in the top 10 for goal kickers and in Ruck hit outs we are the worst performed (least hit outs) out of the other wafl lead ruckmen.

The fact that we would only have 1 or 2 players at this point in the F & b running and you would expect White to be in front by a country mile, the stats say why!

It doesn't read well does it 30 plus. One thing I do think though is that if Mitch Leyendekkers had not of got injured he would be up there in the hitouts. His form before that was really good and for me overtook Christian Eyres as our number one ruckman.

Busher when playing forward over the last two weeks has taking 21 marks and maybe if he was played as a forward the whole year this may be up. Who knows.

All in all though it's not pleasant reading.

I agree Busher has looked good the last few games since going forward.
No doubt he is our best KP forward, works hard and covers a lot of ground.

Mr AFL I think they played him down back to ease him back into the side after such a long layoff. Was able to come at the ball and continue towards our forward line without changing direction.

If he gets through the season I think his career is back on track.
