WP are lucky to be where we are.. Point win v Peel and Goal v SF take that off our team and we would be on 8 points!!! Below Perth..
Lucks a fortune but I suppose you make your own luck

Now WP and EF lose an we stay on 16 points 1 game clear of Perth
Top 2 teams set in concrete... 3 and 4th up for grabs to have a extra game or maybe 2

Peter you blame the coach but hey mate Perth has had a lot of coaches over the last 30 plus years with little success.. Is it possibly a mental thing where the Perth players run on with the thought that they are going to lose and dont know how to win :(

Cardy four years and DM has achieved nothing, do you think any other club would stand for that?? No doubt the player's have to take some of the blame but at the end of the day the buck stops with the coach.

Ken Hinkley, Paul Roos both inherited basket case teams....coaches do make a difference.

Cant agree more Peter but it could of gone the other way but someone has to be responsible. There are Nine teams in the WAFL and they all have coaches that are under the hammer at one time or another.
Looking at Threads EF Malaxos and Haze at SF have been attacked at various times by supporters this season
It is a solution accross many sports ...AFL and ARL being 2 big ones where coaches are moved on :(
Even Presidents are not in the clear.. Collingwood Pres moved on last week
Watch out Marty :)

Maybe after 4 years there is a problem and Perth need a change of direction??
But having said that a few games the other way and the tune would be different
I suggest Perth keep him until the end of the season and see how it pans out.
It is his last contract year anyway isnt it?

Looking at the list I gave above Perth could win 3 or 4 and have the ability to do so. With WP and EF up and down the ladder could change dramatically.
I say give it time.

Heres the ladder and depending on results tomorrow could change

I see Swans and EP sitting on top 2 for rest of season.. Subi? They could come back to the field. If you do your sums it is going to be a contest for 3/4 spot.

Who knows, maybe he's been extended on the quiet for another 2 years just like last time. Us members and supporters would be the last to know.

EF will in my estimation likely be sniffing around for a new coach so its not like we'll be the only ones looking for a replacement. Be brave and get in now. Why on earth would you wait until the end of the season when everyone else is at the starting line together?

I agree with Cardy.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

If you burst a blood vessel yesterday you better upgrade to top hospital cover. If DM is allowed to serve out the remaining year and a half of his contract you might end up needing a triple bypass.

Dazzler wrote: You have to cut the team some slack for that fade out yesterday. They were down to one on the bench in the second half. But that doesn't fully excuse what was effectively a 12 goal turnaround from the middle of the second quarter. We continue to let teams go on a rampage for periods in games when we turn into witches hats. Its those mental lapses which have killed us all season and against the really good teams they make us pay big time as Swans did yesterday.

Rumour going around yesterday out there from a senior media source that there is an AFL experienced coach looking for a WAFL gig next season. Time for this club to be brave and get into the market place now for a new coach before another bastard club snavels him.

Dazz, that rumour was around at last home game. I am aware that a certain benefactor of the club is onto it.
