I reckon either Bevan or Chance.

Hasnt done enough over the years to warrent the Captaincy..maybe a lesser role.

Good tip LR. Sully is my "smokey" (pardon the pun) for the job although I do think that Bevo or Chance will lead the team.
Sully will be in the leadership group.

The trouble with O'Sullivan is his form over the years has been patchy,he is inconsistant.
Can he sustain good form to be in the team for 20 weeks??
I dont think so..no good to the team if your Captain is playing ressies footy due to poor form.
Maybe in a leadership group that contains another 4 players.

Fair comment 30+. Sully's poor form last year was due to early injury and interrupted pre-season (virtually none) and took him till late in the season to make the senior side - played only 7 games.
He is super fit this pre-season which hopefully will lead to an injury free season and re-establishing himself in the senior side.
IMO he has always shown leadership qualities and I would not be surprised if he gets the gig. However, I do expect Bevo or Chance to get the nod with Sully a part of the leadership group.

Does anyone have any information on this Karl Merson that Freeze made reference to a couple of days ago?
Is it fact or fiction, how old and what type of player is he? Be nice if he was a tall strapping lad around 95kg and capable of holding down a KP.
I'll be at Bassendean Oval Saturday morning and will keep an eye out for anyone new.
