Peter, I suggest if you read the posts correctly, you will realise it is not a case of him not agreeing, it is a case of him ignoring the facts of our recruiting to suit his own pre determined negative views.

30+ you have been the biggest critic of the the club's recruiting strategy for a long time. What do you find deficient in what they have achieved this time around?
We have the tall KPP's and a ruck group that addresses the needs that you have been alluding to. Give them the courtesy of showing what they have.

considering 30 plus has often said Perth lack a mature ruckman,in reality, Baseline et al, do you regard Leyendekkers and Murray as the mature ruckmen 30plus believes the PFC need in order to be successfull?.....also 30plus believes PFC needed a quality tall KPD up back to negate quality opposition tall forwards .....Johnston and Risol on paper look tall KPD, unknown in quality though don't you agree?.....

some of you Perth boys reckon the recruiting dept have done a great job in filling obvious PFC holes, some folk disagree, call it negativity, lack of reality, 30 plus and a few others reckon, besides Reimers and Bateman, PFC recruiting is very much speculative and very much a quantity over quality exercise...time will tell I guess which of you boys are living in reality or not...

Hey Peter they are the first to cry to moderators for the name calling...water off a ducks back to me mate and Smokey sorry i didnt reply 9 odd hours ago.

I have always maintained "quality" over "Quantity" when recruiting any day of the week and as an example i reckon we needed "quality" to fill one or both of Full back and CHB and i'm not convinced we have done that ditto for the ruck and thats not to say young Leyendeckkers wont prove to be a great recruit in a year or 3.

I understand points come into play but thats up to the footy dept. to get it right and get the quality big point players for the crucial deficient areas on field,generally its Kpp's,mids and rucks.

And some of you have selected reading habits i have praised the recruitment of Bateman and Reimers and probably to a lesser extent Sketcher but do i really have to go overboard and be untruthfull about most of the other recruits???(i did say most and not all)

And if you bothered to read my post a few pages or so back i gave a breakdown of how i see our season going please address that post and tell me where i have gone wrong on that assessment.

TBH i think we are still a fair way behind the 8 ball.
Lot of experience out the door and a fair bit of inexperience in to replace it.


I think our forward line will be ok if Reimers spends a fair bit of time there,i reckon our midfield will struggle fair chunks of a game and i see our backline struggling big time.
