As originally stated by Dazzler...there is a Starke(without the "e') that played junior footy/state 16's for SA and for Glenelg he is 24 but does not have the impressive stats that DF puts up for his Stark with an "e" from North Adleaide.

The North Adelaide Starke hopefully is the one we have recruited...but i doubt it?

You mean there is a Josh Starke and a Josh Stark?

From the info i have been able to get...yes there is.

There is a Josh Starke of North Adelaide born in 1989 who played for SA state 16's and a Josh Stark of Glenelg who is also born in 1989 and played for the SA state 16's the same year.

Looks like Starke has played 2 league games for North and Stark has played 0 league games for Glenelg.

As a further coincidence there was a Nathan Stark rookied by Melbourne in the last draft from Glenelg.

I couldn't find anything on Josh Stark at Glenelg.

Hopefully it is Josh Starke from NA.

I guess it must be the Stark who was once with Glenelg.

But I can't find anyone by that name who has played at Glenelg - even reserves - in 2012, 2011, 2010 or 2009 and that's as far back as the stats seem to go.

Maybe he played Colts for them before then.

They both played state u16 together and I know that Starke (NA) played state u18 but not sure whether Stark (G) did.

No matter, you've got 5 very likely recruits with Reimers, Leyendekkers, Bateman, Murray and Sketcher. I wouldn't mind betting sketcher wins the club B&F.

Whoever this Stark/Starke is, he hasn't played a lot of footy recently either way.

Maybe the only way to find out is to ring the club , im sure Marty will let you know .
