Yes you are right but these three players were high draft picks and obviously showed a lot at a young age. Mind you Perth from memory have not had a lot of representatives in the State 18's over the last 5-6 years.

Yes have seen him play and at this early stage shows potential. That potential needs to be nurtured and given time to grow and not rushed.

In saying that I would like to see where he is this time next year. Don't forgot he has still only played 5-6 games of colts football.

Only turned 17 this year BH and still has 1-2 years of colts left I think. He is eligible to play State 18's next year if he is good enough to make the squad. I would have him see out the year in the colts and if he is good enough and form warrants selection, play him in the last 2-3 games in the reserves. Let him do another preseason and see where he is this time next year.

And so what if he is only 17 he is simply a better footballer than any of your current Reserves so just play him!
Swans have played plenty of 16/17/18yo's over the last decade including players of the ilk of Naitanui, Yarran, J, C & D.Garlett, N.Jetta, Walters, Rance, Banfield, Ellard, Notte, Simpson, Pearce, Newman & a bloke who kicked 4 goals in a Premiership win as a 16yo in Coniglio!
Clem Smith would have no dramas stepping up to League footy let me tell ya!

All you true believers how is the wake up call feel. You lot are a bigger Joke than the coaching staff!!!!! :woohoo:

Up yours A hole! I feel sorry for your mother and the people who have to read your senseless dribble on this site! I am glad you have nothing to do with the Pfc because unlike you I don't wake up every day and think of ways for people to hate me! And just quietly you are a Fn superstar at that!

I for one look forward to the day when you decide that being an absolute prick gets boring and you jump in front of the last train to Vic park! Your life must be full of disappointment because your perception on life is just that! Your a sadist and a sad act and if you won lotto tomorrow you would probably crack the shits blame it on the Perth footy club then be the hero you are and jump on your keyboard and blame the coach of the Club that you have been so hard done by!

there you go happy that's my spiel for a change as you seem to think you are the only one who can hang shit on others! Well we are all square now Mongaloud!

You want something to winge about that's red and black!!!! Well congratulations you've now got it!

Suck it up princess!!!! Your coach as I have always said has not got a clue just like you lot of blind stupid supporters. You lot couldn't tell the difference between shite and clay. I really hope you lot have reigned this bloke as you lot utterly deserve everything you get. It gets even better when you add a sacked coach to your already well credentialed coaching outfit.

'Your coach as I have always said' What the F is wrong with you? What in your pathetic little mind thinks anyone on this site gives two fifths of F all what your opinion on our coach is! Your interpretation on Pfc supporters is brilliant especially coming from a no mate twit who takes out his frustration of being knocked back by his hand ongenuine footy supporters!

Your the minority now tool........ Anyone to listened to your shit is now gone! Your an endangered species! Your same old shit is now boring and nobody cares! I even bet you are sick of your own voice!

You need to step back and take a deep breathe and relax. I am as frustrated as you with the whole situation dragging on this long but there is no need taking it out on me.
Minority now a days has the loudest voice and always get what they want.

Apologies for the tirade last night btb! I had a skinfull at the footy and got emotional after watching such a terrible performance. There is no place on this site for that and look forward to our 'chats' in the future!

Not a drama lucifer it is all good,. :woohoo:

I find it strange that Peter North breaks a huge story re-Ali Smith being offered up for a trade and it only gets 3 responses from supporters.
Maybe supporters have zero interest in it.

If true i for one would like to know why was he offered up for a trade??
Sure we need a ruckman but not at the expense of one of our top players.
One would suspect if this trade offer is true then what we get out of Smith for the remainder of the season is "an Elari" zero interest in being there.

Coniglio was 16 when he played in the GF.

Agree 30Plus, and with Murray going maybe everything is not as rosy as we are led to believe. Murray is a huge loss but he had enough chances I suppose. However to offer up Ali Smith just defies logic. Remind me again,it was Wes Lammie we tried to get, not Polly Farmer.
