As 30 plus said on the other thread this is probably our most important game in the last decade. If we win we are 2 games clear of Swans. If we lose obviously it's neck and neck. We have to play every team from now until the end of the season. Swans have to play Claremont twice but also have Peel twice.

Hopefully we will have Ali Smith back as well as Tunbridge. Busher and Boyle may also return but they have now missed 2 matches so not sure what the injuries are.

I believe Boyle is out for six weeks with a groin injury?

Yes I heard the same thing in regards to young Boyle. All the best for a speedy recovery :)

Hopefully we get a couple of players back in Ali Smith, Simon Tunbridge and even Haydn Busher if he is fit.

Joel Leeson has had a pretty good month of football averaging 23.25 possessions and 2 goals a game, Kieran Hug was unfortunate to miss out last week IMO, David Johnston played against SF after missing the win against Peel.

How long does Jarryd Morton spend in the reserves before he is fully fit? Being a 10 point player and getting him in the middle of the season he was obviously picked up for a reason.

All in all some tough decisions to make at the selection table this week. Thought Matthew Hunt was better than he was against Peel and deserves to keep his spot for another week.

Really think Leyendekkers should be played in the League this week, especially if the rumours are true and Wes Lammie has walked. Two ruckmen to go up against the pairing of Rory Lobb and Tony Notte. Also us to also have one of them resting up forward to provide a TALL target, as that is something we have missed at times this season.

MUST WIN game given that Swan Districts play Claremont and East Perth after us, East Fremantle play Subiaco twice while having the bye next week and Subiaco obviously play us in-between their games against the Sharks.

Add to that the fact that East Perth have consecutive byes before playing Swans in round 18.

The next three rounds have the opportunity to really shape the ladder, for better or for worse. Hopefully it is for the better.

Unfortunately Boyley has gone on holiday to Europe for 6-8 weeks. He booked it last year when he wasn't going real well (playing at Carlisle). He then tried to cancel it once playing league this year but it was going to cost him to much in lost money (upwards of $6000 i believe).

So is it a groin injury or a holiday?
Which is it.

So what do we have to do to win this game? Forward structure, rebound footy, press? IMO our half back line is crucial! SD lead to the centre break ball as good as any and notte and geappen must be stopped from kicking goals! What do we do with garlett? Our forward entry has become shit house of late in comparison to our first 5 games!

I think try Tunbridge in the middle and rotate with bevo in the forward line!

Sketcher has dropped of a bit and expect big things from him rest of the year!

This is one of the toughest games in the comp swans at home! Can we do it?

Lucifer I think if you had a good look at our home record this year, you would be very confident. As for me I would rather the game be at lathlain for 2 reasons
1. The ground is not far from where I live
2. Swans are 5 wins from 6 on the road this year compared with 1 out of 6 at home.

Having said that the game will be closely fought I believe because of the high stakes involved. Just like the last 2 games between the teams
