With the way the ladder is at the moment, this is a must win game. Looking forward to it though. We have had the week off and hopefully gain a couple of players back and others are feeling refreshed. Chance out is a blow though and Paul Johnson, Brendan Lee and Josh Smith will have to be stopped.

I actually don't mind the Sunday games, apart from the fact that you have to work the next day

Yep Peel have been playing quite well at home this year. Should have beaten Claremont as well from memory. The Thunder had the last 3 or 4 scoring shots which were all behinds from memory.

It's an important block of the season but still the focus must remain on East Perth. At 5:30 on Sunday we can turn our attention to Peel next week.

Sounds silly the old 'one week at a time' but how many times do we see teams or have been apart of a sporting team that has looked beyond the task of what confronts them first and it has come back to bite them in the backside.

If this team wants to play finals that's the season right there in these next six games. All teams they've beaten already, all teams below them on the ladder. Win all of them and they'll pretty much sow up a finals spot.

We were in this exact same position at this time of the season in 2004. I hope this team is made of sterner stuff and demonstrates that with a win over EP on Sunday.
