Dont forget also the handful in round 3 they got as well BTB!
But according to the Dee's faithful on here all those free kicks were there!!!!
Just a pity they are never paid to us in our forward line! :(

Fwd line free kicks are always remembered and WP have certainly had a few paid to the opposition in front of goal. Those are the ones you remember :(
A good team will always overcome this. Agree though where the Free kick count is usually pretty close it doesnt take into account WHERE those free kicks were given. In fairness though to the umpires Back line players go in a bit harder to prevent the scoring of a goal and this leads to illegal tackles dont you think?

Happens at AFL level as well. IMO the WEAGLES won there games v Nth Melb and St KILDA due to free kicks given at crucial times in FRONT OF GOAL.

Anyway Demons just beat the EP Ferals and it will make my day - A Perth and WP win will be brilliant..Will be watching that EF scoreboard closely for your results.
We had them for 3 qtrs then fell in a hole for the last which gave them the game. They are not that good BUT YOU GOTTA HIT THEM HARD

Big ask re free kicks and where they are given. I dont know if they even record where free kicks are given? The only way you could really work it out would be to look at the players free kicks for and against that are given on the WAFL site stats and seeing if they are a forward or back player.

I can just imagine BH as the arm chair ride they got against you was verging on embarrassing.

Understand what you are saying Cardy, but the 3 I mentioned 2 the Perth player were deemed to have been pushed in the back and billings mk2 should of gone for holding the ball. Bevans free he would win a Oscar.

They have changed the format now on waflonline and you don't get the options anymore which is disappointing.

Mate you have hit on the Biggest load of crap I have ever seen in Umpiring. I see it so much and saw it again last night in the Hawthorn /Carlton game. This is where a player is caught with the ball from behind and HE THEN FALLS FORWARD!! It is an obvious holding the ball but the umpire gives a in the back decision. The players are milking it for all it is worth. I have seen it a few times in WAFL games as well.
I can understand the player who did the tackle remonstrating with the umpire due to this OBVIOUS MILKING by the player with the ball. And to add insult to injury if he gives the umpire Curry they could chuck a 50 mtr penalty on to top of that.

We will see a lot more of it as well unless Gieschen talks to his umpires and explains the situation. Ok even a bounce up if their appears to be 2 infringements. But he must cut it out asap.

The game is going to shit when Coaches train the players to get around the rules and use it to there advantage.. Ok not their fault and they must use everything they can to get that kick.

You want to see incompetent umpiring?
Last night's was the worse I've seen in years
Those clowns had a huge say in the result
Absolute disgrace

Last night seemed to follow on from last week at Etihad. Please, we are all in confusion how everything seems to change in a week. One week it's ducking and falling forward to pick a deliberate out of the hat with a couple of no idea holding the balls. Cut the mike from Chamberlain don't need to hear his brain ticking over.

Hug, Hunt, Leyendekkers, Mather and Ransted all playing reserves.

Here is what the squad will probably look like.

B M Tedesco J Risol J Jacobs
HB N Kane D Johnston B Hodge
C M Florio D O'Sullivan A Smith
HF P Bevan S Tunbridge J Sketcher
FF B Stack F Mcinnes H Busher
F C Eyres A Smith D White
Int. K Reimers, M Boyle, M Moody, M Sinclair

This is not exactly where everyone will start of course, just the best I could do roughly in 5 minutes editing the team list and positions put on the WAFL website.

Interesting to see we are only going with the one ruckman in Eyres. Talls in the backline are Risol and Johnston, and we have seen Busher play down there recently and Nick Kane can play tall as well. Tedesco as well has been very good this year.

Midfield of White, Ali Smith, Ash Smith, Hodge, Moody, Jacobs, Florio and with possibly Reimers, Sketcher, Boyle and Bevan to run through there at some stage throughout the game.

Forward line of Tunbridge, Stack, McInnes, Bevan and Reimers with possibly one of the talls down back, possibly Busher to float through their as well.

Brant Colledge not named in the reserves, could he possibly be a late inclusion?

For East Perth, Rowan Brookes, Danny Chartres, Brock Higgins and Mitchell Howlett are playing reserves

B J Payne K Anderson J Oakley-Nicholls
HB A Sweet W Schofield M Fraser
C D Cadwallader C Wulff S Payne
HF B Lee J Smith R Maldenis
FF A Boyes S Lycett J Cripps
F P Johnson M Swan F Clutterbuck
Int. C Grover, J Derickx, M Gordon, S Mckenzie

Will be interesting to see who Will Schofield goes to. Does he take Tunbridge or McInnes in the forward line or does he play on Paul Bevan?

Their midfield is very capable of getting high numbers and being effective with it. Wulff, Sweet, Cadwallader, Lee, Maldenis, Clutterbuck, Cripps and Swan.

Paul Johnson is easily the best big man in the game. Do we try to beat him with only one recognised ruckman in our team or do we just let Eyres and whoever else rucks go with him and apply pressure on him at every chance. This would then put more responsibility on our midfielders to shark the ruck knocks of Johnson.

Brendan Lee had 37 disposals last time and we can't allow that to happen again.

Where did you get this line up from mate, Murray was listed in the reserves and he hasn't lined up their, i hope he is a late inclusion because Johnson and Lycett will murder us in the guts and around the ground, defys logic going into this game with only one ruckman against the ferals talls.
