Just split them between you both.....one way to get some cheap early recruits I guess for EP and Perth......

Hopefully you have written to your club sharkie asking them not to accept any money from the commission this year and next since most of that money comes from the West Coast Eagles. It’s about time some of you grew up and realised we are all part of the same football system and football family. 

It’s a pity my club hadn’t gone on the front foot and told the naysayers to go forth and multiply and strike a deal with the Eagles. We are the weakest club by a country mile thanks to our pathetic zones the lazy fucken commission have lumped us with so the smart move should be that we take Eagles interstate recruits.

Since East Perth have gone on the front foot I’d say even if we strike a similar deal we’ll be left with the leftovers after EP get first crack.

There are no ongoing discussions.
Who do I believe Townsend or Shields?
None of media have spoken to him (Shields).

DD, straight from the president today in a message to a source you would not be privy to, and being very clear on what the club's position is.
There are no negotiations happening with WCE  and WAFC on this matter.

I’ll take your approach Smokey, I’ll wait until I hear it officially from the club. If such a clear cut decision has been made it should be shared with the members, not shared with “a source”. Until then it’s just hearsay. Bit like the Chris Mayne news on 7 a couple of weeks ago. Nothing official from the club.

DD, you should take the invitation Bob Shields gave to Townsend & Duffield....."check with me before you print a story and I will give you the correct position of the club." Townsend has already ignored that invite.
