Yeah, well I’d love to know what the club is doing about “fixing the zone”

I’ll put it on the list shall I.
- where the fk have the players disappeared to?
- where’s the scoreboard?
- what’s happening with the ground re-development?
- when are you fixing our shite zones?

EP belted us yesterday in 2 under 15 games.
A and B team’s both went down by around 10 goals each at Gosnells oval.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I think the best we can hope for is a win in the ressies and to keep it under 6 goals in the league and within 100 pts in the colts. 👍🏽

FMD what’s Mossy doing to them? Has he got them rock climbing without a harness or throwing them in a cage with MMA fighters? Elbows, knees, ankles, jaws, shoulders. If this was a building site the Unions and Worksafe would be crawling all over it. Or have a few of the boys been hanging out with Jono Marsh on a Saturday night ?

Thanks Dazz. Injury list is now updated and doesn't make for good reading. Clarke gone for the season. He and Byrne have been our only mids with any kind of run and carry and polish. I guess we need to ask what has caused this spate of injuries. It may be just bad luck, but the sheer number is extraordinary. Having gone through our list, I count 30 players who have missed at least one game through injury. Of course, many of our best players have missed multiple games. I guess things have come full circle for Bush. When he started at Perth we were a bottom 3 side and he had serious hip issues. He went to Claremont, got his body right and played regular finals. As soon as he returns to Perth, his injury recurs and we drop right back to bottom 3. StT talks about the curse of the Buffalo at EF - what curse has been laid on us?

Article in the West about our injury crisis. Says we have 19 players out and have a bare 22 to name in the reserves. We may have to resort to topping up with amateurs.

Last night it seemed Colledge had been dropped as he was named in the reserves. It appears he was going to be dropped but is now injured. Confusing info again.

Surely we can no longer assume that all these injuries are bad luck or curses.
As I have previously alluded to, there must be something inherently wrong with our fitness and recovery  regimens or there are bigger problems with the playing surface.
19 injured players on top of previous 12 or so in the course of one season cannot be put down to bad luck or a curse.

I call it the cable curse - nothing has gone right for us since cable went to EP in 78
