Surely getting more league footy into Jaiden Hunter would be a priority? Hunter dominated colts last year, is Hill doing something similar this year?
Perhaps Freez. Hunter and Hill are similar height but Hill 10 kg heavier. For mine, Hunter is finding the step-up to senior footy has been difficult. He has played mainly ressies of late and returning modest stats. Hill is a year+ younger.

Regan Clarke out - injured ?? Masto out of course while Colledge and Quill named in the ressies.
Bird and Edmonds come in. Hopefully Matt Taylor is fit to line up again.
Noted that Hedley Smith named in the ressies.
I sense that Gary Moss is sorting out the squad and signalling more changes possible as the rest of the season progresses.

Hunter played a really nice game in defence last week, but I think he is hurt (shoulder) maybe because he looked sore as he left after the game.

Regan Clarke was hurt right at end of League game (leg).

In: Mcpartland, Edmonds and Bird.
Out: Colledge. Masten, R Clarke

Hedley Smith suits up in the ressies along with a fair few others who look like they are getting a final shot
Fraser Barns is another one I’m keen to see do well. 22,199cm and 93kg.

Serious question: do supporters have a right to know what is going on at their club, or do we just have to assume that everything is in hand? The injury list, dated 28 June, names just 3 players: La Fontaine, Smith and Loersch. Yet this week the following are not playing either league or reserves: Busher, Hitchcock, Yeo, McCarthy, Hayward, Hunter, Clarke, Langlands, Richardson, DBW. Albeit some of those are fringe players, that seems to me to be an injury list of some concern. Why can't the club tell us? I assume Yeo has decided not to try to come back, especially now his mate Masten has gone, but if that is the case, say so.

Selections: Colledge out and Clark stays in? Colledge last 3 games: 24, 19 and 14 disposals. Clark 10 against EF, dropped to reserves, came back with 6 touches against Subi. I don't rate Quill, but he has at least hit the scoreboard the last 2 weeks. I would have kept him ahead of Clark. StT may be right: the selection of the CEO's son over seemingly better performed players may cause some tension. I assume that Colledge and Richardson, along with Eyres, have had their cards marked. No idea what Bird has done to put his name forward. About the only move I like about our line-up is Nicholas on a wing. Bench is likely to be Taylor, Sing, Davis and Grey. If we lose this game - and the team list suggests we are likely to - we will be second last. Few would have seen that coming in the midst of a very upbeat pre-season. Hope the reserves can win, but even they are a bit depleted.

I sense EP might be more motivated than us to move up one position on the ladder. That’s probably their best line up all season with their best midfielders in there. Who knows which Perth team turns up. I’m tipping EP.

Great post Ted, some very good points made. This season has become a real mess. I know the injuries hurt us but since the WP win we have not looked up to the grade. Our recruiting has ended up being disastrous. Loersch hasn’t played a game, Smith less than 1 game, Langlands not up to scratch, Busher about 4 games and Bird yet to play league, rightfully so. He comes in tomorrow but I’m not sure why. I agree with you about Nicholas, he seems to be developing into a handy utility player in the Busher mould. I see that Sing is back in this week which confirms Nicholas and probably Fisher will be used in other roles rather than defence. Fish will more than likely have the big job on Ramsay.

Bloody oath we have a right to know but don't expect it. Nothing in my view has changed with the regime change - nothing -  despite all the promises of better communication with members. In fact I reckon it's worse than it was when the soccer hooligan with no idea was running the joint. I'm constantly amazed supporters stick with this club with the crap we have to put up with both on and off the field.

This club has slipped so far off the pace with what professional standards are that we have no fkn idea what we are aspiring to be or what success even remotely looks like. That's what happens when you don't have standards because you don't know what those standards are. If you want to know what I'm talking about watch the league team warm up before matches and compare that to the opposition.

Case in point - can't even be arsed updating the injury list. How hard can that be???

Well at least the PFC Website shows the current season stats leaders on its home page. Over at East Perth, Patrick McGinnity is still kicking goals apparently.
Maybe updating website details is so much harder than we’d all think.

Dazz I fear you may be spot on.
I must admit I was one who was sprouting the positives of the "new regime".
We do have the right to know what is going on.
Nothing seems to have changed.
There needs to be a complete review of the football department.
I fear some have been there too long.
Nor do they have the ability.
I also fear that personal comfort is more important to someone than anything else.
If they are serious things need to change now.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
