Correct - this should have never happened after the issue we had with Subi poaching a player a couple of years ago, then Leggitt and now another alleged issue involving Souths. Who the fuck is running the player lists at Lathlain?

A player contacted another club to gain a meeting / discussion - before that can occur a basic check process must be conducted to 
1. Obtain correct information as to contract status 
2. Whether that player is on a protected list
3. Or any other sanctioned criteria (extra cap points , alignment side etc)

During this a protected list hadn't been updated , be that by club or WAFC , and therefore advisement was provided to Perth FC of this

That's it - no scandal , no mistakes as such and no fault and definitely no attempt of poaching 

There is a process to be adhered to and it is there for a very good intent & reason - ethics and respect should prevail

Southerner, I can’t believe how lucky Ninyette was last year. I think his first game for South was in the reserves against us in the last game. He then plays league in the second semi and GF and bang he’s a premiership player. Good luck to him.
 

Perth Footy League shows Haydn Busher has been released to Trinity Aquinas. Presume that’s under a Type 2 permit so still remains Claremont’s player.

I’m guessing Claremont have not granted him permission to train with Perth so this is an interim step so he can train and play footy in the meantime. Similarly Cody Leggett trained with and was set to play with North Fremantle.

Listened to Footy World and Busher got a mention.
Goss out of Claremont is that nothing will occur until after they play us in R3 I think it is.
Likely to cost us a bit.
Salary may be the thing.
Seems positive though.

Are you suggesting they want to see if we're a threat before deciding to facilitate a transfer? We've gone alright at Dog Shit Park in recent times. 

It would seem that Busher has told Claremont he has no intention of staying. They have granted him a permit to play ammos in the meantime while trying to convince him to return to the fold.
All supposition. We will probably know the facts in about 3 weeks.
