I had a bit of a smile to myself when I wrote that post because I knew it would bring out a bit of “discussion”.  I should have realised it would also bring out a turkey……turkey

IQ 58 i think your confusing the points cap with the salary cap,and if it was so easy to manipulate,why were Subi's plans to re recruit Zac Clark scuppered when they had their points reduced????

We never had our points cap reduced. The WAFC singled us out so we could not recruit certain player types, not sure the exact rule but unlike all other cubs, we couldn't recruit ex AFL players or players from other clubs, only ex Subi players. So the idea was to drag us down, not to add additional support to other clubs to lift them up. Lazy decision by the WAFC.

I wouldn't complain too much S.S. the corporate signs and boxes ''Dragged'' you up for a couple of decades.

Probably because the afl clubs decided to take our home ground for their use. About time you started spending some of your questionably obtained cash and get off the bottom area of the ladder and try to keep up with us

You go through the history of your football clubs 120 years existence,you'll find on the graph a very unusual spike in performance,so good luck to your right place right time little revenue stream,and the remnants of that are still there,and your in another Grand Final,[13th this century]and given your history if you were a horse you'd be drug tested,but your slowly coming back to the pack,and i am very confident we will catch you in the not too distant future,so enjoy.

Freo oval was terrible today, doof doof dominating the scene at the northern end and a 45 minute wait to get a $9 warm can of beer - maybe have more than one person serving the entire outer.
