Hey STD, to be a finals chocker you actually have to make finals, so when you do make finals, and i dont mean compromised finals like last years mini season, then your team might have the honour of choking in a final, until then go back to planning your September holidays for the next decade.

SS, remember the final that Perth did play last year they entered the fourth quarter with a ten point lead and a ten goal breeze!

Speak for yourself friend, I admire The Cardies.  They have shown how to make something out of nothing.  Sooner or later people have to let the shit go and judge them on merit.

Thanks Shark, the boys on the field focused on football, it was tough on them during that period of administration, no de-listed AFL players for over five years just four blokes from other clubs. The Tigers are a very good team and its going to be hard to beat them, I wont be disappointed if the Monts knock us off. To get into a preliminary final with a bunch of local blokes is a bloody good achievement.

Winger I dont think most on here are directing their angst at the playing group and coaching staff, The players at WP have always been totally committed to the cause, no one can doubt that, the angst is at the admin and their white flag approach to their debt issues.
I agree the 1st semi will be a ripper as will the 2nd semi, maybe just the home ground advantage for both games will be the only difference, as I think it was for your boys and the Souths boys last week.

I don’t agree with your first line SS.  Still, doesn’t matter…that’s the footy world.

So STD I expect your choking on your earlier pathetic posts about Claremont. A seriously good, tough game of footy, Claremont down by a goal at 3/4 time, Joondy getting their traditional free ride from the umps and they ran right over the top of the Debt dodgers in a scintillating last quarter of finals footy. Given how banged up Souths are after the 2nd semi, Claremont must go in as slight favourites next weekend, but you can never count Souths out.

Have been very impressed with Ben Edwards from Claremont this season.
TOO or TT might know is he former Premiership Tiger of the 80s & 90s Scott Edwards son?
If he is he could become a 3rd generation Premiership player at Tigerland if Claremont can go all the way.

He is Scotts son BH and the boy can play.
