He's into all this Leading Teams shit which might even be his baby. Didn't last long at West Coast and didn't he also have a very short stint at a Melbourne club? Think it might have been Carlton.

Sounds to me given his excellent record that it's a conflict with the board or certain senior players. What would the club do if hypothetically for example, Bolton said he's off if Harris stays? If that were the case, then the board should show the player the door. Being a devout Claremont man I'm sure JT is right onto this story.

It's in most major companies in some form or name DD and I believe it's in the Level 4 sort of coaching accreditation too
Harro has been there for a few years now so this could be a change of direction and a fresh start at Claremont

The alternative is like Swans did, hang on to numpties like Harding (7 yrs) & Smart (now 10yrs) praying that some divine intervention will all of a sudden make them effectual.

yeah but Brian Dawson had just left - he'd galvanised Swan Districts into a pretty formidable unit , big stamp on everything
only thing I know about Smart is that in his entire career at the AFL he picked one good player

Harris is close mates with Valentine so that could be possible.

It seems like a very strange decision. They were a kick away from winning the premiership. There is obviously something else going on whether it be financial or player revolt. Perth have appointed Moss completely untried and yet now it seems Harris could be available. Their president, I think his name is Povey, was interviewed on ABC radio in the build up to the game and he seemed reluctant to confirm that Harris was coaching next year. The ABC panel were surprised about that and especially if they had won the GF it would have been extraordinary to think he could lose his job.
