the point is, that, with those performances against the lowly teams, he was a little bit lucky to make the four. It all depends on whether the board thought he had a better side on paper.

Good riddance. When asked if he'd be a candidate for the Perth job he said an emphatic NO because of work commitments. Claremont job is up for grabs and suddenly he's available. Cherry Picker!!

It's a shame because Perth had a pretty good record against Claremont under Harris at both the Showgrounds and Claremont (dog shit) Oval. Did he have to hand the club issued pooper scooper back in or did he get to keep it?

Interesting comment STT given Harris returned Claremont to finals improving each year playing in 3 finals series and a narrow GF loss in his 4 seasons.

In 6 years, Earl got Perth to play 1 final and the other 5 years which included 2 spoons, Perth’s performance was no better than the previous 16 years under McMahon, Jarman, Eastaugh, Magro or Armstrong.
