Surely the question is would the person have died then if they had not contracted the virus, many folk live with underlying health issues but the virus is such that it brings abt their death sooner.

The fact is but for the virus they would, could and surely have lived longer!

Without the virus we wouldn’t have shelves stripped of food and restrictions everywhere we go amongst other things.
It’s here and as adults we have to adapt and live with it now unfortunately

Grump the question I’d like to ask you is, should we all stay indoors and shut businesses down and in effect stop living so 70, 80 and 90 year olds can live a bit longer? I feel sorry for the younger generation to be honest who should be enjoying their youth but it is being stymied by harsh restrictions and lockdowns.

I would also like to see the statistics of those fully vaccinated who have been hospitalised or died, which vaccine they were immunised wth. I bet the federal government doesn’t want that statistic to be known. Not so much of the 70, 80 and 90’s but but those under 70.

As I’ve posted before, in Europe the country with the lowest rate of hospitalisation and death from omicron is England where around 80% are vaccinated with AstraZeneca.

2 x AZ gives you much better proection than 2 x Phz, 2 x AZ plus 1 Phz booster is as good as you will get.

UK is doing much better with the second waves, as it is all AZ.

Yes Baz...that just astounds me. After 2 years the best McClown can come up with is to nick off to BCF and buy some tents. Why couldn't they look at having one dedicated Covid hospital NOR and one SOR? If it meant re-opening the ED at Freo hospital or taking over Glengarry then so be it. They could be staffed by specially Covid trained health professionals with all the latest equipment so that anyone suspected of having Covid could be taken there in the first instance for specialist assessment and all other emergencies to the normal public hospitals. Anything would be better than a tent.

Correct, big portions of Fremantle Hospital left empty, could of been an ideal Covid Ward, instead we ahave a Hire Party Marquee,

Of course not if ya gunna die from this or being hit by car sobeit, the point of what I trying to say is that some folk reckon that Covid is being given as the cause of death when they have an underlying issue and that the numbers should reflect that and I am saying they died of covid nothing more nothing less it was exacerbated by the other stuff.

I have no intention of changing my life style within the rules that put in place, I will still go down the beach for a wlk and a swim, still get FF when we want it and so! Given the shops and cinemas are mortal enemies that will not change.

If others chose to change out of concern for their health that is their call.

McGoo is holding a Press Conference at 7.30pm tonight. Speculation is that the opening date will be pushed back.
