Clive Palmer done an interesting interview with ABC radio yesterday. Mr Palmer labelled our premier “Mark” The Menace McGowan.. And also stated that the United Australia Party.Will be contesting all Wa upper house seats .In the next Wa state election.. He accused the Premier of using the Covid shutdown for political popularity.
The Premier in response has said he will accept the high Court ruling.. But if Wa has a Victorian type breakout of Covid..He will restrict all types of social gatherings to minimum numbers.Including workplaces .So even if sneakers can't seal the border he still has the power to basically shut down the state..This could backfire on Clive and the federal government. In the worst case scenario..

I hope the people of WA stand behind McGowan. That fat fkn cane toad from Queensland is not wanted here. Going to run in the next WA election? FFS, If we get an outbreak here, the fat slug had better sneak out of here before he gets strung up.

Absolutely on the money 58. If Palmer wins the court case and we get a breakout which results in deaths, he should be charged with involuntary manslaughter. We don't want the prick here and the sooner he understands that the better we'll all be.

Yep I’ve changed my tune on Palmer, initially didn’t see a problem with him wanting to come here to do business but if the High Court decision means we have open the border then all bets are off. And that goes for Morrison and Porter. They can suffer the consequences at the next election.

I'm a Lib voter federally, but if fatguts wins the HC case and we end up with a second wave of the virus, the Libs will be decimated in WA at the next Fed election, the state libs will virtually disappear at the next state election, they are almost there now.

One of the most concerning things abt all of the Victorian thing is the aged care facilities largely run and operated by that absolutely wonderful and trustworthy sector of our community, the churches!

Here they are paying minimal wages to staff that aren't properly trained and afraid to complain due to their recent migration into the country with very suspect nursing qualifications, this last fact has been born out by a private contract that took over one of the facilities where the staff were sent home or bailed.

They pay no taxes, rates or any other costs that other business are forced to pay and then they have the temerity to ask the federal government to bail them out, an absolute disgrace from a sector whose track record is deplorable!

If states closing their borders is unconstitutional, then it must follow that closing the border to Victoria is also unconstitutional. Over to you Scott???

Spot on, these churches are a blight on our economy. Just take, not enough give.

And out of Australia's current total of 15582 cases, victoria recorded numbers make up 60% of the confirmed cases nationally.
The graph for NSW is quite concerning with it's slowly upward trend. Another 19 cases for nsw today apparently.
