Vic really is a mess.

Its now rampant in the old age system with no sign of it abating.

6 week lock down will be way longer than planned, no finals and probably no Melbourne cup.

Another dickhead Victorian refuses to isolated and pulls a knife on a cop in Jurien. Time to raise the fines to thousands of dollars and prison time for re-offenders. And fck these idiots and their so called “rights”. We all have the right to remain healthy and not be infected by some halfwit.

No announcement as yet but I hear Brian Lara's record first class score is under threat from Vic today and 500+ will be recorded.

And you can add the Boxing Day Test to that list of blue ribbon events to be scrubbed off the Melbourne calendar. I reckon we are a big big chance to have the trifecta here, AFL GF, Melbourne Cup and Boxing Day Test because NSW seem to be heading the same way.

And when he fronts up before the beak, he'll probably use drunkenness as an excuse. Apparently was drinking alcohol for several hours before the police arrived.

I agree, NSW won't be hosting anything big soon.

And Qld just doesnt have the venues big enough to hold the big events, The GABBA is miles off Optus, maybe the horse racing m but forget AFL and Cricket.

One thing of note, is even though the capacity of Optus is only 30,000 they are still a way off filling it with tickets going unsold for every match.

I suspect due to lazy club members and venue members who get allocated tickets but either don't go or don't put them up for sale.

I think 99% of WA people are so conscious of doing the right thing they may still not feel comfortable about attending big crowded events. That aside it was wonderful watching on TV as the WCE totally dismantle the Covidwood. Kelly, JK & Nic were just awesome!!

Yep and dont forget it is an older demographic membership base at the 2 afl teams here (60+) and they are the most at risk with the virus!
