Southerner, what the Curry munchers neglected to do was to rig the toss. Dont worry they'll make sure they dont let that happen again.

Great effort by Ussie and hopefully Cam Green keeps his head down and he gets a big score.

Cam Green changed the whole tone of the days play with his innings. Some of his drives were out of the text book and he took the pressure off Ussie as well.

These two need to go on with it today, preferably bat the whole first session. If Australia could get close to 400 they will be able to put the pressure on the Indian top order which apart from Rohit and one contribution from Pujara has underperformed so far in the series.

From India's point of view, 1 early wicket can bring six as has happened a few times with Australia's tail not wagging at all. If they can dismiss the Aussies for 300- 320 they will feel like they are on top. Its time for Carey to do something with the bat as he can probably feel the heat from Josh Inglis who is scoring runs for fun.

I can't work out Alex Carey - he has a decent chance to put his head down bat on a decent pitch and maybe get 40 or 50, which would have been a good thing to do especially as Inglis is heading to India for the one dayers and he is in form, and he plays a shot that players in bottom grade club cricket would be embarrassed to get out to.

I think his glove work is first class, but his shot selection leaves a lot to be desired and we need a number 7 in the ashes that can take the game away from the poms not hand it back.

All he needed to do was play himself in and get a partnership going with Khawaja and India would have been batted out of the game. Attacking from ball 1 is not usually the best option on Indian pitches.
