Mike England will be sitting back on the Gold Coast absolutely pissing themselves laughing at the ineptness of our Cricket Australia boffins.
First they send most of the Test side off to the Desert to play in some silly hit and giggle tournament whilst our dreaded opposition are settled in the state of the 1st Test, getting quality red ball practice in!
Then they come back to quarantine and supposedly practice in tropical QLD that has had more rainfall in the last few weeks then you would get in Perth in a year, so virtually no centre wicket practice against an opposition before taking on the soap dodgers in an Ashes series!
Anyone would think we had a Pom running the show at CA?!............

Well CA has pulled the plug on the Perth test. The Nsw ran CA will be trying for 2 tests in a row.A city 3 time larger than Perth that gets smaller attendances than Wa.
The Swans or the Nrl game of the week. Are lucky to pull a Wafl 1970's crowd.

Agree Southerner, and probably a good toss to lose. That wicket will be easier to bat on later in the match if it gets that far. Some ordinary batting but some good bowling

Was just reading how social media gave cockhead Warne a belting after Starc took that 1st ball wicket.  Karma can be a wonderful thing.
Good on the Gabba for turning on the rain…..again.

Great day with the ball by Captain Cummo and his co-bowlers.
Assuming the rain stays away, hopefully our batsmen can capitalise on the bowlers' good work.
I have a feeling (and I hope I'm wrong) that England will bowl well.

Seriously Ricky Ponting we don't need to see 15 farrrken replays of Marcus Harris dismissal. He didn't need to play at it, we got it the first time. Stop waterboarding me, I felt like throwing the remote through the fkn screen.

Hopefully DD Ponting is just emphasising to his dopey Tassie mate George "Smiley" Bailey that Harris is not up to Test Cricket standard and never has been!
How he continually gets picked has me absolutely stumped?
What do these selectors actually see in him??????

None of these bowlers have played a single fc match in  Australia--players want good money, short tours, with= it seems, no cricket. Is Root better than Bradman? Please wake me up when the Poms realise that, in addition Lehmann and others played a decade of county cricket.
The captain went well yesterday; my only criticism would be allowing Lyon to go around the wlcket with the score at 105-5.

Woakes-sorry
