Come on WAFL presidents come out and say it - we don’t like afl and the wafl is going to be different.

Highest score wins not best low score.

The WAFL need to be bold enough to introduce bonus points for kicking 100 points or 20 goals a game whether a team wins, loses or draws rewarding those sides who are producing more attacking football.

We have to dare to be different from the Vic centric comp and attempt to be more attacking and score oriented rather than as you say trying your damned best not to score or limit it.
If I wanted little to no scoring in my sport I would watch soccer exclusively.

Not much chance of that Beas! Fk me there isn't any afl players in the comp this year - "The condensed season format will remain the same as previously agreed to by the WAFL Clubs, with every team to play each other once across nine rounds and the top four teams on the ladder to compete in a three-week Finals Series.
The Grand Final will be played on the first weekend in October, with the winner to be awarded the 2020 Optus WAFL Premiership Cup. Individual awards, including the Sandover Medal, will also be presented.
Quarters will consist of 16 minutes plus time-on to align with current AFL rules.
The WAFL Reserves and Simply Energy Colts competitions will also start on July 18.
Channel 7 will continue to be the competition’s major broadcast partner and showcase League matches and finals, as well as the Colts and WAFLW Grand Finals."

Still trying to figure out why, when no VFL listed players will be playing, do we have to align withe VFL's 16 minute qtr BS??

Ol Dill & co at vfl house are clutching at straws trying to keep their Vicco League going in Vic whilst Covid numbers continue to grow in that state and now QLD wont allow their teams up there which is fair enough.
Dill wont pull all of them out of their beloved Vic borders asap to hub in other states and keep his comp going without further disruption, no doubt their is a huge Vic financial reason as to why?
I wonder if McGowan in WA & Marshall in SA will also pull the pin on Vic teams coming inside their borders?

75 New Cases today, Its pretty much now into Second Wave status, I reckon AFL In Vic is cooked...with a cold bleak winter ahead, and with other states not wanting toxic vics floating around the place, DILL and Co are goner have to move them all out...

Let the 10 Vicco teams play each other in their festering viral swamp of a state and the 8 interstate teams play each other in SA/WA/Qld, 2 conferences with the winners of each playing off in the grannie at Optus or Olympic park in Sydney after the 2 grandfinalists do 2 weeks in iso prior to and after the game ;)

It's not far or even balanced so should fit the VFL/AFL's agenda perfectly.

Yet another dimwit Victorian from a Vicco club breaks the afl covid protocols.
Who's that now Hunter & co Footscray, a couple of Melbin players, McKenna and another bloke from Essendon & now a couple of Collingwood numpties...have I missed any?

These Vicco clubs players look to me like they are just taking the piss.
Whilst clubs from WA & SA had to leave the comforts of home to hub in QLD & the QLD & NSW teams clubs would seem to be following the rules set down to keep their season going the dimwits in Vidtoria (the heart of the virus currently in Australia) who have had the luxury of staying at home in their own beds with their Teddy Bears (Danger & Cotchin) just continue to do as they please and the rules dont apply to them.
These Vicco teams have given up absolutely nothing to keep their beloved comp still running.

Hopefully McGowan pulls the rug on these dimwits coming into our state and putting all of our own lifestyles back to square one again just as we are starting to re-open up and more importantly putting our WAFL season in jeopardy.

Keep them out of WA Mark!

me too, bease; if he does go through with this crawlling to the Victorians, he needs to explain why he has changed his policy to the WA public. Is it possible Mcgowan was not as opposed to having games here as he suggested in the past? Could it be that he was simply outbid by the Polish woman in Brisbane?
