Yep...if it was a wide expansive attacking game of footy that finished in a draw you'd be saying wow, what a brilliant game, but that crap was analogous to a nil all draw in soccer.

That's strange .......... I watched the first quarter, and noted at various times 11 minutes, 10 minutes and 8 minutes.

Did you have a bout of diarrhea - not necessarily the verbal version?

So that's what Collingwood drank at qtr time.. They booted a massive ONE goal after then.. Must have had the shits.. Commentators always had Richmond winning.. BIASED

Do you realise the Qtr has only been shortened by 4 mins.
With all the carry on you would think the Qtr was halved.

I barely noticed the difference.

The game produced a pitiful 5 goals each in perfect conditions for football for goodness sake.
The negative reaction across social media and the players themselves would suggest you are one of very few TRSM that didnt notice or actually liked this reduction in game time.

Didn't seem to make much difference tonight.

Pity the Cats played shortened qtrs. Could have got a decent score with more time.. Total contrast in class compared to the idiots on thursday night.. They sure missed Kelly.

Ouch 3 and a half out of 9 not a good result for me, certainly a few upsets on the weekend. Overall the games were pretty good and a few tight games with reasonably high scores. I think there was a massive overreaction to the 16 minute quarters on the strength of one low scoring game. I reckon its well worth a try and once the players adapt the quality may improve because there wont be so much fatigue and maybe it might prevent injuries that happen late in quarters or games due to this fatigue. Even with the shortened quarters there is still more game time than either rugby code or soccer
