My understanding at my club is that for roughly the cost of a membership the boys get their kit and where there are issues the club will work around this, given that it is an AFL run thing you then think that there would be no cost!

As far as the junior clubs reaping rewards, if we want the WAFL to have enough players then the Districts are the bedrock on which our clubs are based.

At colts training last night (we had a pasta feed for them) the Development fella had the 14's coaches from the district there to discuss issues, training and players. Obviously I can't speak for others but from what I understand this is not a one off but happens regularly which be frank is an improvement from past years ( abt 6 ago cos it got better over the more recent ones).
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

Plucked it using logic, from the age of 5-16 all players will be tied to there junior club. The1% of exceptional players will play colts at 16. 17-18 year olds of the top talent will play colts with occasional stints at there junior club.

11-13 years playing juniors as opposed to 1-2years at Wafl colts.

You conveniently leave out the 3-4 years of WAFL Development Football (13s, 14s, 15s 16s-Futures) before the kids are even involved at Colts level.
It is obvious you have no idea about the football pathway in WA from your posts in this topic or you are just on another fishing expedition god knows why though as it just makes you look rather silly.

I have a very intricate knowledge of the pathways, whilst they are at a part time development squad, they are at a full time junior club.

Development squads are used as a revenue stream for clubs.

Do u think junior clubs should get a cut of draft money?

Considering WAFL clubs do not receive a dime of draft money with all of the expert tuition, skills, training, weights, vision etc that is put into these kids from the age of 13 I cant see why a junior club should receive any either!
