Maybe a moment is approaching here with the AFL elite hijacking the game for the WAFL to delink from the AFL, sell the licenses back and fund an independent footy competition in this state.

Dazzler I simply don't see why the licences should be sold unless it is for $250,00,000 each. What we need is for the WAFC to start making decisions that HELP not DESTROY the WAFL. A WAFC that stands up to the two WA domiciled AFL clubs and tell they who owns their licences.

My have complete and utter contempt for Gavin Taylor and the WAFC. Every decision they have made in the past 20 years, if not longer, has been to the detriment of the WAFL. They should be sacked en masse and people who are generally interested in the viability of the WAFL should be appointed.

42 I hope you are not forgetting the likes of Messrs F.Cooper, G.Walton, N.Randall, G.Dorrington et al for the mess the WAFL is in currently?!

Isn't "Duddington" still there?

I think my contempt for G (I don't want my opinions and views known to WAFL supporters ) Walton is known to all on this forum

The Commission has always been weak -- they were originally only going to play on Sundays to try and protect the local game to a degree. How long did that last?

It's an incorporated sporting club which means it doesn't automatically get audited and members aren't liable for debts.

I think dazzler raises some decent questions, not just in respect to the annual audit, but what decisions the board and ceo have made over the last five years, tbeir the ones tbat have been behind the wneel and a hell of a lot of mo ey has gone missing ...

You have to hand it to the West Perth players in that they must have been aware of how serious the issue was when they ran onto the ground last saturday and yet they were still able to put that aside and produce a spirited and focused performance on the field.

Absolutley dazzler, wise thinking ,its the only hope the wafl has, unless we have admisntrators that can embrave change and to more viable future this will not be the last time it happens, this could be a catalyst for a whole new look wafl.

Are you angling for a position on the WAFC or as part of D Trump's administration. Your strident determination to completely deny any culpability of the WAFC in regard to the state of the WAFL is extraordinary in the extreme.

They could be playing for free for the rest of the season, this sounds a lot like Fitzroy amd South Melbournes last days.
