Mr AFL surely our club needs to be ruthless with recruiting. I would welcome all three SD boys including Rogers back but Etto and the other Cary might need to get the chop. We also desperately need a back up ruckman for Graham. Eyres is clogging the list up.

Cary wouldn't come to Subi as I don't think we have a number 69 in our kit.

Update:
  • David Ellard has signed with Swan Districts
  • Tendai Mzungu has been linked with a move to Swan Districts
  • Swan Districts players Matt Rodgers, Ricky Cary and Matthew Jukes could all be looking for new homes next season
  • Brandt Colledge is apparently being looked at by East Fremantle
  • Ricky Cary (Subiaco, Perth, have also heard East Fremantle)
  • Rodgers to Perth
  • Bennell to Claremont
  • Crowley I have heard is planning to do the Melbourne marathon and is not coming back to Perth until mid December or after Christmas. He and his partner have decided on moving back to Perth but as far as playing goes I think he is uncertain on which way he wants to go

Ruthless yes and also precise. The way I see it is that we need a back up ruckman first. This will allow either Graham, the new ruckman and even Sam Garstone to spend more time forward. Then we need a key defender. Latch and Marlin did well this year but need support and unfortunately Dave Johnston is injury prone. If there is still points then a key forward would be great. Get two or three home grown players back and I'll be happy.

Not saying Jukes wouldn't be handy but if by using seven points on him costs us a chance to get either a ruckman, key defender or key forward them I don't think it's a smart move. Being a smaller player as well I think Jukes potential playing position in a Perth team could be filled by Ninyette or another young colts player.

I think the bigger points need to be spent on key position players or top shelf midfielders like we did last year in Spencer White and Clint Jones. Pocket positions like a small forward or back pocket could in my opinion be filled by players already at the club.

If Jukes was three points you might think about it.

Well a few of us have heard of another possible AFL delisted player being linked to us however after recent developments that might not happen. I'll leave it at that.

Yep I reckon EF would be more than happy to welcome Attadale boy Colledge into its midfield....surely he would be key signing for Perth....1pt and ready to go at 192cm and 90 odd kg.....as an EF fan I would be more than happy to snare Colledge as would evry other WAFL club.

He will certainly need to grow up if he wants to make the move from an amateur club up to Subiaco.

Has a very high opinion of his own ability TOSG....a good fit IMO for his footy as he is one dimensional as a forward and needs a midfield who can get the ball to him lace out or above his head as hopeless below his knees and provides zilch defensive pressure...a bit of Warren Ralph about him... cant see him getting the midfield service required at my club to see him get the best out of his footy so might be win win for both clubs and player
