I am sure your lad can play a bit but I reckon WP would have kept him or continued to lure him to Joondalup if he was better than Keunen or Seva. Good luck to him at $ubi and I hope he does you proud

Has any club really pulled off any major recruiting coups in the off season? I don't think there has been apart from players returning to the WAFL.

Brant College - Perth (could have been a lot better if Tendai didn't get an AFL lifeline)
Cory D'lollio - SF (back from suspension)
Several ex AFL returned to SD

Other player movements have mainly been no names looking at opportunities at other clubs.

SD can only improve on last year, SF should at least match their good 2016 efforts and for that reason warrant early favoritism.

Subiaco have lost a lot of experience, EP have lost a lot of experience, Tigers under Harris should be big improvers.

The rest of WP, EF, Perth haven't done much in the off season and Peel are unlikely to repeat their effort from last year. It looks like a pretty open field, I don't necessarily see anyone dominating which would be a good thing.

Papertalk was on our list last year as a 10 point player. Still has not played a WAFL league game and still a 10 point player on the basis of being an AFL listed player once upon a time (rookie listed if my memory serves me).
Has to be the most expensive recruit of all time.

Cheers Smoke - I couldn't remember whether I'd seen it last year or not & who posted his arrival to be honest mate , maybe a country side wants him so Perth have kept him listed for the fee ?
